Glad you included Samir on this list man. I think he gets forgotten about sometimes but boy did he have a physique that was WAY ahead of it's time. The thickness and detail in that back was astonishing and wouldn't be seen again until Dorian came on the scene. No real weak bodyparts and a posing routine that could leave you open-mouthed. Probably but just barely. He'd definitely be dropped below Dillet and Dexter. And only if his minimal use of drugs is to be believed.
@CC-be3ko4 жыл бұрын
He is not even close to be in the top 20. Genetics must be measure in how good you would look at your best and not how fast you look good. Do you really think Lee at his best would be able to defeat Jay, Kai, Victor Martinez, Cormier, Wolf, Yates, etc? No, he wouldn't.
@Tomn8er4 жыл бұрын
@@CC-be3ko that's not how I look at it. Dorian beat damn near everyone at their best but doesn't mean he was better genetically. And he'd be the first to admit that.
@CC-be3ko4 жыл бұрын
@@Tomn8er That's why i said: " how good you would look at your best" instead of: "how good you look at your best". For example, like you said Cormier was never as professional as Dorian so we can only especulate how good he would've look if he developed all his genetic potential like Dorian. The same goes to Dillet, Wheeler, etc. But Lee Priest is different, he was almost max out. He trained hard for years but some of his bodyparts weren't good enough Like his back, glutes, and pecs. Also because his small frame he could've never compete in mass with biggers guys like Dorian or Ronnie. To sum up, some guys like Flex or Cormier never developed his full potential, while other guys like Priest even at his full potential wouldn't be good enough to compete for the Mr Olympia. Thanks for replied the previous answer.
@dj_m193 жыл бұрын
@@CC-be3ko way too much shitting on Dorian to be honest. There's this myth of him having the worst genetics but the worst worth ethic that was able to overwrite his genetics and turn him into a 6 time Mr. O and one of the best bodybuilders ever. It's a myth. Yes he didn't have the shape or the insertions of these guys but his thin skin and predisposition for that sahara desert conditioning, graininess and overall hardness is second to none. You think Cormier would look like Yates if he trained as hard and dieted as hard? nope. Not to mention that how well you respond to gear is also genetic and Yates might just be the best hyper responder out there with Levrone, Coleman and Ruhl. You don't put on that much size unless you have top tier genetics.
