I try to make them half of alot of recipes. Any leftovers I take to work for my lunches. So it all works out. They usually freeze wonderfully, so you can reheat them a few weeks out and don't have to cook. Thanks for stopping by. 👋😀

Personally, I call them planned overs. We are empty nesters also and many things we enjoy can be frozen. We used to be over the road in a semi, so freezer cooking was a must. We ate all of our meals in the truck. Many recipes make enough for 3 meals, so we eat fresh, then divide the leftovers to enjoy later 2 times. The recipes here are real, simple, honest. Thank you for sharing. I'm always looking for new things to cook.

Is there any way to make healthy cheese sauce? I love the recipe but all the cheese sauces used processed cheese like velveta or American. Just wondering.
