What watch and location should we do the next Chisholm Hunter Special?!

Any omega in the Faroe Islands pretty please🥰

Agree, this is the best HKF. I pretty much like everything about it for a daily "beater" to use a cliche term. The only two things I would change: rectangular simple hands, decrease the lug to lug. Next watch in "affordable": Seiko SPB313-317/near water, Doxa Sub300 Carbon Whitepearl/beach, Citizen BN0220 or other color. Also, Chisholm, where did you get your gold necklace/pendant, looking for a good one myself. thnx

I bought this watch based on this review and directly from Chisholm Hunter in Nottingham. Love this watch, although after a month of wearing this I finally realised that the legibility of the watch is its biggest drawback, especially the hands! The long pointy hands have a dark border which make a good portion of it blend with the dial which makes both hands appear shorter than they are. I still spend time admiring he watch on my wrist all the time though, but can't deny having slight buyers remorse if I'm being completely honest. I still think it's the best titanium watch for the money and is my current everyday watch.

They almost had me with this one. I like everything about the watch except the dimmer numerals. And I, too, am coming from a Khaki Field Mechanical as my everyday watch.

Hey Chisholm! Love your content buddy. Mainly the way you put the watch into an adventure. As a personal comment, I would like to see maybe a few scenes putting the watch into a hard work, such as pitching the tent, cooking at the camp, preparing the backpack, etc. The content is awesome anyway!

Thanks mate appreciate the feedback. In the next one we will try and incorporate this!

I don‘t know how you do it but everytime I‘m researching a watch, you guys are making a video about it! (I was literally looking at it yesterday) I have the KFM right now as well and was eyeing the automatic as well! Great video as always.

Almost perfect. I know Hamilton Khakis never come in 40mm so I'll just have to live with 38mm which is fine. But no date window is kinda tough for me...

The watch is now almost perfect. But I miss the date like on the steel version. Harrison, I got a question for you: how mature is it to talk in every video about how matured you are?

Awesome video!!! Titanium is lighter, but do you prefer the 38mm rather 42 for this khaki field? Is 42 too big for this specific watch in your opinion? For my wrist I have the impression that the perfect case would be 40mm. The 38 too small and 42 too large.

mate i love this watch, i think the smaller crown is a better look than the stainless steel one and the lug to lug is a wee bit smaller and i think the 38mm will be a better fit on a smaller wrist, ps. what size wrist are you?

There are some very serious design “influences” here from the Oris Big Crown, the textures on the face and the numerals are very very similar. It’s a good look.

The thing that made me give up on its purchase was the use of type two titanium, which is not very resistant to scratches caused by accidental impacts.

I have an original eta 2824-2 from 2006 on a 42mm case on a steel bracelet. H70515137. I bought it new and was the one that initiated this horology watch hobby. All I knew was that I wanted a Swiss made automatic field watch and Hamilton was the brand to get.

Hi, how does the 38mm Titanium compare to the 38mm Murph in terms of wearibility, lug shape, “wrist hugging”? 😀
@Tourist19677 ай бұрын
I have fairly slim wrists. 38mm field wears just fine and curves around the top of the wrist well, particularly on a NATO strap.
@chi10572 жыл бұрын
I have the stainless steel version on a bracelet which costs over £300 less than this. Not sure I'd pay that much extra for the titanium version. That aside I enjoy your content 👍

Titanium is lighter, but I don't think it's harder or more durable than steel.

The stainless steel auto date version has better proportioned hands which reach to the minute track. Plus it’s less expensive by an amount which gets another good-ish watch.

I have been looking at this model, but there’s an off design choice I just noticed: the hands are unexplainably short!

The hands look shorter because they're black, but there's a thin point at the end of them that each extend to their respective hour and minute numerals.

Rolex 36mm Explorer or OP, take the watch up Ben Nevis, but contrast the watch's all-round versatility by visiting a country pub, restaurant ect. it's no doubt already been done, just thinking off the top of my head.

@kristofdelint-wouters19802 жыл бұрын
This is not an honest review, this is a commercial. I agree this watch looks amazing, but it sure has it's points that could use an upgrade (lume, inner anti reflective coating) and saying that titanium is harder and more durable then steel but not saying it's only grade 2 which scratches way more easily than stainless steel, which actually makes it less durable,... Great video, but thumbs down as a review

You do know that 100m water resistance doesn't mean you can go 100m deep right 😉
@Tourist19677 ай бұрын
Lot of confusion about that! 50m means its probably safe to swim wearing it, but snorkelling is out. Myself, I wouldn't wear a 50m in the water at all.

compare this interesting dial and VFM compared to say the Tudor Ranger
@Sagerydian6 ай бұрын
As long as they haven't solved the reflections problem with the crystal I won't buy it. You cannot see the dial when it's sunny outside and it gives the whole watch a cheap look. Get a proper non reflective coating inside and outside of the sapphire glass and we have a deal!
