You need certain amount of followers for instagram to increase your bitrate. Accounts with just few hundred followers get bad bitrate compression no matther what.
@virgilio240212 күн бұрын
I notice it too, ppl with many followers have better quality. I also see some comments that if you're using an iphone to upload gets a better quality than android users.

Thanks for the video! Why 29.97 instead of 30, if you film in 30fps? And when I import a 30fps clip into Davinci that's set up at 29.97fps, it asks it I want to change the project frame rate, do you change?
@herokme2 ай бұрын
i actually don’t know the diff between 29.97 vs 30, my brain has always just associated them to be the same 😂 i do the same wirh 23.976 vs 24fps. that being said, i always make my timeline first and make sure its at 29.97, and i dont think i’ve ever seen the prompt to ask if i want to change the frame rate. but if that pop up comes up, i would just click “don’t change”. hope that helps!
@dyani4755Ай бұрын
I had the same issue, and from what I’ve read people are saying that 30 fps is usually what companies call it because 24, 29.97 and 60 fps just doesn’t look as good/ isn’t as intuitive. So when we film in 30 we are actually filming in 29.97 and that’s why davinci asks us to change it. Again, that’s just what I’ve read. If anyone can confirm or has info I’d love to hear it

Thank for this straight forward and informative video. I’ve been struggling to find a definitive solution on how to upload 4k footage to Instagram. I’ve recently purchased an Osmo Pocket 3 and was playing with the idea of use Davinci and fortunately I came across your video that told me everything I needed to know. Thank you!!!

Sorry dude but timeline option just toggles the view of the time line, I can’t see how it effects every clip? Iv tried and it just toggles view
@herokme4 ай бұрын
you’re clicking on the wrong thing. there’s two dots at the top that control a clip grade or timeline grade. it doesn’t say “timeline” until you hover over it. depending on how your layout is, it might also be a dropdown menu next to “clip”
@woodcraft_cz4 ай бұрын
@@herokme damn, found it, amazing that was a great shout. Iv always been compounding the entire timeline after basic adjustments this leaves me room to go back and tweak individual clips if needed with ease

Just curious how you handle the loss of color and saturation that happens when the video goes from davinci to iPhone? Do u tweak it again from your photo gallery?
@herokme5 ай бұрын
the final step before exporting of setting it to rec709, srgb has pretty much negated the color shift (still happens a little, but not as much as default)
@soupjargon5 ай бұрын
@@herokme hmm okay mine still shifts pretty drastically I have to figure out why that’s happening.
@herokme5 ай бұрын
@soupjargon check davinci settings > general. there was an option that’s something like “use mac display colors”
@soupjargon5 ай бұрын
@@herokme I have that checked as well. I’m running tests now. With your method it’s still pretty flat on colors but it’s not difficult to tweak in phone edit settings so I’ll just have to live with that.
