Back in the days when I am still shooting Chinese wedding, you will need to add an external flash even in bright day. When indoor light is sufficient, you will fake 1 shot discharging your flash while quietly shooting another 3 without using burst, so your customer looks like he hire a expensive pro photographer.
@Wootsk12 сағат бұрын
Discharging the flash instead of firing because it is film in the days. I have a motor drive for burst. There is experience where there is still eyes closed with 2 burst. So I did 3 in the past.

How's that camera smaller than your phone? And yes, it's a light camera but not compared to the same phone.

@liciniooliveira-becas3618Күн бұрын
@herokme I understand what you mean. But you're only showing one part of it to promote a characteristic. Dimension of a product as 3 axis. How's that camera smaller than the phone? Didn't even consider it needs a lens.
@herokmeКүн бұрын
i don’t think anyone actually thought that a phone would be smaller than a camera with a lens sticking out of it 😂
@liciniooliveira-becas3618Күн бұрын
@herokme of course you didn't. I know it may seem I am getting on you, but it's not that. It just these things get repeated everywhere and as you know, you'll not be putting that camera on your pocket anytime! I see this many times as a photographer. Friends buy the smallest cameras and a few days later: "where's your camera?" Ahh, the phone is good and I can have it with me without having to worry where to put it...

I want to get the gimbal and the lidar for my Nikon d850. Sounds like it’ll work cause the DSLR autofocus sucks when it comes to video. But with this it seems it’ll be easy hopefully. And the direction/instruction you’re giving is very helpful. Definitely going to save this video!
@herokme2 күн бұрын
hopefully it works! just be careful that most photography lenses aren’t linear focus, so the focus motor may not pull focus properly. but i’m not sure if that’s the case with nikon lenses too
@1990GreenAngel2 күн бұрын
@ kinda wish I had a Sony a7iv. From what I’ve heard the autofocus is great. I’d probably wouldn’t need the lidar… maybe. Just the gimbal. But if I do get my hands on the gear I’ll test it out. I just wish there is more reviews or more videos for the Nikon d850 like bts photoshoots or even videos and so on. There isn’t much out there on KZbin.
@herokme2 күн бұрын
i have the a7iv, autofocus is amazing. lidar would only make sense if you’re using manual focus cine lenses if you were rocking the a7iv. if you had autofocus lenses for it, you could go a long way with it. of course, manual focus does look different. but that’s a whole different learning curve, especially if you’re trying to manual focus on photography lenses
@1990GreenAngel2 күн бұрын
@@herokme I do have a 35mm 50mm and 85mm and they have autofocus…. Sooo it’s a possibility! I hope lol. Ugh 😩. Well if the lidar doesn’t work with those lenses I’ll probably just return the lidar and just control the focus on the gimbal. Hahaha. This is a tough one. I am trying to take it easy. I’m slowly getting into videos. I’m more into photography. I do photography. Never done video. Well I only did one video but I had to use single focus point and basically not move too much forward and back then I’ll be out of focus lmao. I’d have to use manual focus if I’m moving back and forth
@herokme2 күн бұрын
@1990GreenAngel yeah focusing is definitely harder without a good autofocus system if you’re on a gimbal. i’ve gotten to a point where i’m pretty much all manual focus now, but i run handheld rigs over a gimbal 😂

The simulation dial is just dumb! All Fujifilm cameras have a quick option to change film sim. This has to be with their market option. That dial would be much more useful for other options.

How well does LiDAR-enabled ActiveTrack Pro auto-track a subject in less ideal lighting and tracking scenarios. I've been learning the hard way auto-tracking gimbals fail in low light, abort when subjects are temporarily obscured, and fail to re-acquire an obscured subject. The other thing I'm learning is no one makes KZbin videos about these limitations. Any demos on the limits of LiDAR-enable ActiveTrack pro would be great. Thanks!
@herokme11 күн бұрын
I don't use a gimbal much so I haven't tested that out, but I definitely will soon. But essentially because lidar doesn't rely on "seeing" the subject but rather using the "laser", it actually tracks really well in low light, at least from my use case with handheld, so I assume it should be pretty similar with a gimbal. Definitely will try it out though!
@myerssamuel105711 күн бұрын
@@herokme Thanks! If ActiveTrack actually uses LiDAR, it could track a subject in complete darkness because it's finding the subject by the autofocus distance readings, not by light or contrast, etc. If you don't use the Gimbal, why are you doing videos about it. Confusing...
