Guys, I traveled to Switzerland before, with hours and hours of KZbin time in order to plan my trip, back in 2022. You guys are BY FAR the best I've seen. You have officially become my go-to channel towards my Switzerland 2025 autumn trip. You are brilliant, fun and informative. Thanks a lot for sharing!

Amazing video. Is camping allowed at Schlafer hut area?
@madetoexplore4 ай бұрын
@@pratikrane9465 no I don’t believe so although the rules with wild camping in Switzerland are a little different. I think you’re allowed to wild camp above the tree line in certain areas

Nice video! Quick question: what did you do with all your luggage while you stayed at the hut? Did you carry everything you brought to Switzerland with you on your back? Or did you have another hotel room back in appenzell
@madetoexplore Жыл бұрын
We had a rental car that we left it in but I’m sure most hotels would hold luggage as well! We’ve done that before in other countries.

Kaley, drop that guy. He is dragging you down, big time!
@madetoexplore7 ай бұрын
This is such a ridiculous comment I dont even know where to begin🤯 The fact that you think it’s appropriate to say something like this to people you don’t know says alot about your maturity. Typically, I would not even waste my time on a response, but you have bashed my favourite person on the planet for no reason other than what, jealousy? Putting others down to make yourself feel better about your own existence? It’s pathetic. David is the most kind, driven, adventurous, handsome, supportive, and intelligent man I have even met and he is truly the best thing that’s ever happened to me. If anyone’s dragging anyone down, it’s insecure keyboard warriors who have nothing better to do with their time than post negative comments online. See ya never ✌️

Kinda dissapointing video.. Where is all the good stuff about the hike.. the pov videos.. talking about a hike dont show it.. its a bit lazy.. work.. and the Sound design need a hand.. low volume talk, loud volume Music, having to turn the volume up and down all the time, sucks…

@@madetoexplore get your point..;-) .. But Im not sure you get mine - you are trying to promote yourself as adventure channel, however all I got from this video, is the hotel/hutt.. and a few drone clips.. not realy any adventure.. I am doing a 2.5 week roadtrip through the alps later this year, one of the hikes is the one you did, and I was hoping for some inspirationer.. but Since I am not staying in the hutt, there is nothing usefull in this video. Also no info about the “Ebenalp to Säntis” hike, or the “Saxer Lücke” hike that is on the other ridge, and one of the most famous spots in Switzerland.
@madetoexplore Жыл бұрын
@@kimmatthiesen8049 your summarizing our entire channel based on one video? Do you read a single chapter of a book and summarize the entire book? We can’t help you get more out of something if your view is that narrow. Hiking a mountain and staying in a hut in a new country is an adventure. We just spent last weekend wild camping in the Rockies and had a grizzly 30’ from us at one point. Also an adventure. Just on different levels.
