I watched knowing I'm unlikely to buy either of these higher end tools - hey, anyone who's seen my channel knows I'm nowhere near your level of cabinet-making - but I put time aside to settle down and watch carefully. It would be interesting to put the chisel back in the guide, blue the end and see if the guide gives good repeatable alignment

Yeah. That would be a cool test. And it should stay the same, even if the chisel is not perfect. By the way, I have received the extension jaws. And it looks like you can use them with normal chisels as well. Super grip :-)

My guide on mine is not square so pretty much useless, slop in the jaws aswell on the hongdui.
