I have been growing my natural hair for quite some time now, and my hair has plateaued, and I think part of that was because I was not being as routine with my hair care process. I was using hair tools and not finger detangling and also too sleeping and not protecting my hair while I slept, all of those things contributing to hair breakage, not caring when my hair got dry not replenishing it with moisturizer, etc. I’m so inspired by your videos. I’ve been here watching them all afternoon and I cannot imagine stupid people commenting about this not being your real hair when it is abundantly clear that this is your real hair what type of individual would make comments like these it would have to be a very jealous and small minded person and too bad for them, but thank you thank you thank you for this wealth of information and I can see how the Care and Love you put into your hair care translates into the hair of your children. I’m going to religiously use tea in my hair rinse and use it also as a hydrating spritz especially in the summer, I’ll also reincorporate aloe Vera juice in my hair to hydrate before moisturizing it. I just have to cut off the heat damage and start fresh. No more high heat in my hair ever. I should’ve been waist length now Ave had 3 major set backs, first low iron made my hair very thin , had to cut about 6” off then after my hair recover heat damaged, I grew my hair out for about 18 months no heat then I had another silk press and another heat damage so I’m breaking up with flat iron for life. I’m starting my new journey July 1st 2024. I’m incorporate your recommendations I my routine. I think I’m wash my hair every week during the summer months then in fall every 2 weeks then for winter wear protective styles like twists IF my hair is long enough or I’ll wear bob braids for 4 weeks then wash and deep conditioned my hair in the braids then take them down in 6!weeks. I can moisturize my hair in braids at least I know I won’t be manipulating my hair because I do have hands in hair syndrome 😂😂😂

Thank you for the lessons. Do I have to take down my twists everytime I want to hydrate and moisturize?
@lindsaychrisharmony10 ай бұрын
If the twists are chunky Twists, I take them down...if they are mini twists, I moisturize as they are .

I have one big question. How do i keep my pillow from the moisture process when i moisturize my hair at night. I live on a homestead and usually the night time is when i have my me time for my hair? Am i putting too much on my hair? Here is my process. I lightly wet my hair, then put an oil, then moisturizer, and finally a grease to seal everything in. I just started doing this for three years now. My pillow is always oily. I wash my pillows as well.

Hope she responds soonest but just from a little I know, do the moisturisation at least two/three hours before bedtime and experiment with the amount of product you use and retain until the next washday or moisture day

@olabisiariyo8015 I wish I could show my hair, but it is covered due to the word, my husband, and my faith. I try to sit up and wait until my hair has had a chance to soak up what it needs.

I don't think there is anything you can do...as long as what you are doing is working for your hair, you use a satin bonnet or satin scarf, you can deal with washing your scarf and pillow I guess. You can only control the quantity of oil you apply.

can I use rose essential oil in water to make my own rose water?
@JahleeyahKalonji10 ай бұрын
rosewater is distilled, it's what's left after they create rose essential oil. You can even drink it
@lindsaychrisharmony10 ай бұрын
Use Rose water itself... It's preferable for hydration.

I use rose essential drops mixed with water. It moisturizers and detangles

@hairlikegod7910 Yes! I just started using rosemary essential oil in my tea sprays and hair oils and I can literally feel the difference! Been sleeping on the rosemary, but better late than never.

Hello Beautiful Sister! 😍 Thank you for the personal reply (am sure you're quite busy, was expecting someone in the comments to react) do I purchase commercial Rose water or is it alright to make it? I have a whole lot of dried Rose petals (am saving them to make potpourri) are they suitable?
