Some are outdated. Crit a cola got gutted and now it's trash. The pretty boy pocket pistol on the other hand got over buffed and it's now hands down scout's best secondary.

The sun on a stick is nothing overpower, but when you hold it out, the scout take 25% less damage from afterburn fire. It does help sometimes, especially when the Pyro is your nemesis. Nice video as always.

And also a lot of scouts relied purely on that combo to make "killstreaks" and establish their "skill" level. After they nerfed it, turns out they couldnt aim for shit.

Might as well clear this up, the pretty boys pocket pistol was actually reworked again in the last major update. the stats are now on hit you get back 3 hp and the gun fires faster (+15% firing speed) but has a reduced clip (instead of twelve shots the the stock pistol has the pocket pistol only has 9). Also the winger just makes you jump higher (+25% Jump height) but like the pocket pistol it has a reduced clip (-60%clip size). The winger also does +15% more damage

Btw the sandman is just a bat and a ball, it's a pretty cool weapon because you can either hit people with a bat or hit people with a ball and you can even wait for the ball to regen or go pick it up. It also works with the flying Guillotine

There's some outdated info in this video: -The Sandman Cleaver combo doesn't exist anymore. Basically you threw the Sandman's ball to stun people at long distances and then kill them with the Cleaver because the weapon used to deal crits to stunned players. This combo was basically removed with a "recent" update. The Sandman now just slows down enemies (and imo is the worst melee for Scout because you have less hp with it) and the Cleaver just makes people bleed (it does quite a bit of damage too). -The Pocket Pistol was changed as well. Now it just heals you when you deal damage with it but has a smaller clip than the stock pistol. Another info: The Wrap Assassin is extremely buggy and you shouldn't use it unless you know what you're doing. And yes, the Sun on a Stick is the best weapon in the game. You cannot change my mind.

Ok, the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol stereotype from this video got outdated, because it was reworked (again) The old one gave the scout a full time 20% damage vulnerability, that was a huge downside Now days though, it has these stats: +15 firing speed Gain +3 health on hit -25% clip size Nowadays it's a really REALLY good weapon, some even consider it to be OP Stock pistol is already a scary thing if you have good tracking, but PBPP with its firing speed can melt players if used properly on top of gaining health from it Same deal with the Flying Guillotine and the Sandman They used to be a good combo: Sandman would stun the victim and then the clever would deal 150 damage, because it dealt crits on stunned players Nowadays sandman's effect only slows your victim, so it's not worth using it, because it decreases your health to 110 hp Flying Guillotine now cannot deal crit damage anymore, so it onky deals 50 damages flat and 40 bleed damage over time It is still pretty useful and fun, but nobody seems to use it over other pistols or the mad milk

1. The Backscatter does mini crit damage (1.5x damage) when you shoot somebody in the back. Although, it had less clip size and accuracy. 2. The Sandman is a baseball bat that can actually throw a baseball at people. It used to stun them at any range, but now it only slows people down depending on how far you are. Also, it gives you less max health. 3. The Candy Cane drops small health kits when you kill somebody, but you take more damage from explosives. 4. The Three-Rune Blade is just a reskin for the Boston Basher. You can either obtain it from trading or The Witcher 2 promo. 5. Not many (serious) people use the Wrap Assassin because it does a lot less damage; however, it has a similar mechanic to the Sandman where you throw an ornament at somebody. The ornament can make them bleed.

The Bonk Soda is pretty useful when pushing a sentry nest when it comes to communicating with your teammates to make a push. Since the Sentry will target you and bonus if you have a Uber Heavy pushing aswell. That Sandman and Guillotine joke came from youtube named "Blu" I Assume. which is a Scout main who seems not uploading anymore sadly. but he's content is pretty good, I recommend watching some of his stuff.

alright some corrections The primaries are the same no correction needed the crit a cola got nerfed, the PbPP is op due to it just being health and firing speed for less damage, the cleaver can no longer combo instead hitting long range shots decreases it charge time the sandman got fucked over and is now worthless, the sun on a stick has a 25% fire resisiance when active now, the wrap assassin is good (it was before just overshadowed by the sandman), the atomiser now requires a full pull out and doesn't do damage,

The Force of Nature fires more pellets per shot and knocks people back, but it deals less damage per pellet and can only load 2 shells.(Oh and if you reload after shooting 1 shell, you reload 2 shells instead of one) The Shortstop has a shove. You can shove people. The downside is you get severe knockback while holding it. The Soda Popper builds Hype by dealing damage. Once Hype is full, you can air jump 5 times for 10 seconds, but it can load 2 shells. (Reloading is the same as with a Force of Nature). The Baby Face's Blaster builds boost upon dealing damage. Boost gives you bonus speed and makes very fast, but you lose Boost if you double jump or get hit. Oh and at 0 Boost, you move as slow as a Spy. The Back Scatter deals mini-crits on back shots, but it has wider bullet spread and deals less damage. Bonk makes you invincible to damage for a limited time, but you cannot attack while under the effect(Except, you can still taunt kill with The Sandman or Atomizer). After effect is gone, you gain a slow down. (The more damage you soak up, the slower you go). Crit-a-Cola gives you mini-crits, but you're Marked For Death (That means, you enemies deal mini crits to you). Mad Milk is a "non-milk substance" (Don't ask me, That's how it's described) that you can throw at people. If you damage people covered in "milk", you get healed. The Winger deals more damage and you jump higher while holding it, but it can load only 5 bullets. Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol shoots faster and heals you upon hitting an enemy, but it has less ammo. The Flying Guillotine is a throwable which causes bleeding upon hitting someone. The farther the throw, the less the cooldown. The Sandman gives you a ball. The ball when it hits an enemy, slows them down. The farther the throw, the longer the slowdown. You lose 15 total health on equip. (FUN FACT1 : in earlier versions, the Sandman ball stunned players. Stunned as in players moved very slow and couldn't use weapons. FUN FACT2: In even earlier versions, The Ball could STUN UBERED PLAYERS) The Candy Cane gives you a small medkit upon killing someone, but you take more damage from explosions. The Boston Basher upon hitting someone gives them bleeding. If you miss, you hit yourself (Yes, you hit yourself with a bat.) The Wrap Assassin deals less damage, but you can launch an ornament which gives bleeding to the enemy. The Fan 'O War upon hitting someone, gives them The Marked For Death effect, and it crits when it's supposed to mini-crit, but it has a severe (-75%) damage penalty. The Atomizer lets you triple jump while you wield it and deals mini-crits while jumping, but it deals less damage to players and you switch to it slower. The Sun on A Stick deals critical damage to burning players and gives 10% fire resistance, but it deals less damage.

Short stop questions (Trying out a new format for answering your questions) It has a very small spread and fewer bullets, so basically you can pepper enemies from mid range, hence staying out of pyro's range, unless they have a flare gun. The reason it has a shove is because valve doesn't know wtf to do with it. Backscatter question It minicrits from behind. There are predetermined ranks for certain amount of kills, and when you achieve a rank, the game will pop up with a notification on the side. Likewise, Strange cosmetics do the same with their own ranking system, but count points instead of kills. Not really an achievement, but still fun.

TF2s hitboxes are very stable. Scout outrunning his hitbox was actually just lag compensation so it looked weird when hitting a scout. Same goes for facestabs, its all about ping/interp

I prefer to use the Bonk! Atomic Punch! to distract sentries while a teamate deals with it. Nowdays it lowers your movement speed based on how much damaged you blocked while under its effect, it lasts for a bit. You are also verry much at the whim of knockback as you saw. The Crit-a-Cola, used to also provide a speed boost. Speed boost was removed, it still provides mini crits, but also marks you for death (you recieve mini crit damage) upon attacking while under the effect. The Flying Guiliotine used to deal garanteed crit damage to stunned players. (Including ones slowed by Natasha.) Now it just speeds up its own (already fast) recharge upon hitting a player on max distance. Still leaves enemies bleeding as usual. The Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol, dosn't stop fall damage when active anymore. Now days you take extra damage while having it out, and you gain health on dealing damage with it. Having a hard time remembering what it does anymore. The changes blend together in my brain. The Atomizer now requiers the weapon to be active to be able to use the tripple jump. It does deal extra damage while you attack while jumping though. The Sandman used to be able to fully stun players uppon the baseball hitting a player from far enough distance. It still retains its -15 max health on equip, but the slow is barely noticeable and dosn't last for long, even at max distance. The Wrap Assassin's ornamemt breaks upon hitting a surface for a miniscule aoe of damage. If the ornament actually hits a player, it causes bleed. If the onament, like the sandman baseball, travels far enough, it will deal critical damage. The ornament, like the Righteus Bison, are at the mercy of map makers, as all these projectiles can be broken by dynamic object boundaries, (final point of payload badwater and the middle of king of the hill nucleus), or even invisible objects mapmaker used to tie other objects on a map to help with organizing. Sun-on-a-Stick deals garanteed critical damage to burning players, and provides a small fir me resist.

Even though the baby face blaster is not as stupidly annoying to fight now as it was back in the day,. i now kinda just feel sorry for it, bc now all is needed to take your boost away entirely, is a single pistol shot. they just nootered the weapon entirely. still glad they can't outrun their hitbox anymore though. as for what the backscatter does. it deals mini-crits from behind, but now adays, most people, aside from the very rare new player, usually have too much awareness for it to work effectively. and, its not all that good anyway, like sound said

yeah the video came out before jungle inferno and not all the weapons are the same for instance... The pretty boy's pocket pistole no longer has a damage venerability and has a faster firing speed instead of a slower one, it also during jungle inferno gave you 7 health on hit but that was nerfed back down to three in blue moon, with a health gain of up to 3 on hit, a 15% faster firing speed, and a 25% smaller clip size meaning you have 9 bullets instead of 12 with the weapon now being considered one of scouts best secondary's The crit-a-cola was nerfed to both remove the 25% speed boost, and marks the player for death for 5 seconds with every shot landed with each hit resetting the timer instead of stacking making the cola nowhere near as despised as it was before and being a high risk and high reward weapon The atomizer now only grants a triple jump when active and has a 50% slower deploy speed while also being able to mini crit targets while the player is airborne and no longer draining your health when triple jumping and now only has a 15% damage penalty instead of 20% The sandman was completely nerfed to the ground now no longer stunning players instead only slowing them down a little and only slowing them longer with farther hits making the weapon completely useless The flying Guillotine now no longer pairs with the sandman and now just has a lower recharge time when hitting long range attacks making it a long range bleed weapon there are just the changes to scouts arsenal if you want all weapon changes here's a link to the wiki page wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Jungle_Inferno_Update

Oh no! The Wrap Assassin is not bad! I need you to see this! It’s used the most in comp right behind the Basher because the Ornament is what makes it better than every Scout melee in the game. The ornament on hit, causes a bleed affect. Combo the bleed with your primary and you secured the kill. Soundsmith was calling it bad simply because it only does 12 damage when using it as a melee when Scout’s melee in general is terrible and shouldn’t really be used seriously (all of Scout’s melee’s except the Wrap Assassin do 20 damage so you’ll never be able to get a kill with it). So no, the Wrap Assassin is not garbage, it’s easily the second best Scout melee

I might say, some of these are kind of biased. The Baby face blaster outrunning his hitbox is a myth, and was never actually a thing. Soda popper is not actually a bad weapon. it fires both shots almost instantly, which in point blank means means over 200 damage in a single second. And also reloads pretty fast. Sandman does not stun people anymore. It just slows down people. The wrap assasin is actually really good. The ball makes people bleed, and if you combo it with the flying guillotine, the bleed stacks, which means lots of damage.
