Hi John and Lisa, I just got my Shark 800, Thank you very much the shipping was fast. I ordered this on the 9th of October and got it on the 13th I'm in Florida. I just wanted to say something about about the suction cups. I'm a disabled, and lost the feeling in my hands, I learned there is always a trick to doing something that would be easy for most people. I have a Keurig that I just ran a cup of hot water, I put the base and suction cup into the hot water for maybe 5 minutes if that, I took the suction cup, put them into the hole and using a tweezer I pushed the little tip sticking out into the hole. It took me about 5 minutes to to get them in. That was very easy for me to do. You must have alot of people telling you how to do something. Give it a try. Thanks for all that you do. Fred

Hey John, I just received my ADV 800 today and was going back to your video to see how to put the rubber suction cups on. (What PIA, but I got them on). I noticed in your video you have the suction cup holder on upside down. If you turn it the other way it pops in and his lower then the top of where the speed dial is and will not come off the filter as easily. But since this video is 2 months old I'm sure you figured that out by now. I enjoy watching your videos and they are very helpful. Also I got to meet James at the Cichlid Shack the other day, cool guy very informative.

I bought the Sicce Shark 600 from KG. First of all... they shipped it (and a few other products) within hours of my purchase. I received it in only 2 days !!!!!!! Awesome shipped. Awesome ! I used a small flat tip screwdriver and it popped the suction cups in immediately. So far I LOVE LOVE LOVE the filter. I wasted no time installing it into the tank today. There is not a single bad thing I can say about it so far. I’m not using the Venturi so it is DEAD silent. So impressed with my whole purchase. Will be ordering from KG again. No question ! Thanks John and Lisa. You guys rock !

After you add decor rock etc etc, the displacement of water is to be determined. I fill my tanks up with water after my decor and rock, then take 5 gallon buckets and empty the tank to see how much water is actually in the decorated tank. Then you can see what size filter you really need.
@robertlucas49413 жыл бұрын
That mag-lock feature makes this thing about the easiest filter of any type on the market to maintain. Should be an awesome water polisher stuffed with poly fiber. Excellent review.
@viper81774 жыл бұрын
It would be nice if Sicce also had a magnet on the back instead of suckers so it could just connect onto the glass with a magnet instead. There could be some sort of felt cushioning in between the magnets to prevent any damage to the glass or vibrations. Other than that it does seem to be an excellent internal filter.
@boosted.2 жыл бұрын
A helpful tip, when you decouple the filter from the pump turn it upside down before pulling it out of the water then let the filtered water drain into the tank. If you take the filter out of the water in the upright position it will back flush into your tank. 👍🏻 also like to say I love your Chanel.

As previously mentioned soak the suckers in hot to warm water for a minute or so, and they just pop in no issue ( 30 seconds to get all 4 on ..) Very impressed by build and functionality, only downer is the bubbler sounds like a rasper - without the venturi though it runs nice a nd quiet. Many thanks for the vid, excellent piece of kit.

Hi! I came acroos your video, searching for a filter for my aquarium. Thank you for your detailed explantion. This one is one of the filters on my list. I have some questions, if you can answer them. My aquarium is going to be a 96L aquarium, I'm thinking of buying the 600 version. What I want to know is; the sponges are the only thing that I can put inside? Or can I put 1 sponge and fill the rest with bio filter? And the sponges are there recharges for them or you just wash them or do you have to change them from time to time? Thx!

My Tank is 2 weeks old. I have an UGF and I like the idea it moves water through the whole tank and not just around the filter. Do you think the flow of this gets all around the tank? I'm already considering a second tank without a UGF (I want better plants)
@Dracobear134 жыл бұрын
@@abub002 thats going to depend on the size of your tank. Mine is on a 20 high and it circulates the water all the way around. Since this tank has rainbows and Odessa barbs the high flow works great for them.
