In India it costs 45k rupees (~550$) which is freaking 100$ more. So sane person would buy this. We can literally get a combo of (Ipad 9th gen(64gb) + Airpods 2 + 3rd party pencil) for the same cost (maybe even less). On Walmart there is a combo of (Ipad 9th gen(64gb) + Airpods 2 + Logitech crayon) for 448$ which is far better than this shit.

I did the same mistake, bcos i wanted my show to my daughter before buying ipad 9/ipad 10.I had to sit at store for more that 90 minutes why the apple guys trying to figure out how to pair apple pencil with the adaptor in the package and then we found out it wont work and we need a new usbc adaptor. My daughter liked ipad 9 but me having a ipad 3 still dont want to go with same styles. So bought ipad 10. I liked this ipad. maybe air would have been perfect but dont want to spend now. planning to buy pro next year for myself. I am really suprised appple still dont have type c head phone.oh god apple loves to sell adaptors ..

I would say the iPad Air 4 is a better buy if anyone is looking for a modern design iPad. It has a better laminated display compared to the 10's still Non-Laminated in 2022. Air even supports Apple pencil 2 which attaches magnetically. And the Air 4 is wayyy cheaper on amazon or if people buy a refurbished, after all the 9th Gen was already enough for what students needed for school/college.

I think non-laminated displays are the way to go for affordable devices today till some other similar tech is invented as its easier to replace the front glass without changing the whole touch layer and display with it which makes it cheaper to repair than laminated displays for which you will need to change the whole display, touch and front glass combo even if there is only one part broken or cracked.

well done. but u guys are not considering the battery of ipad10 and air 4. there’s a 30 to 40% battery difference between air 4 and ipad10. myipad 10 give me 2 days battery life in one charge. and i use it 3 to 4 hours a day it’s a beast

The amazing thing about the iPad 9th gen and previous similar iPads was the price. The low barrier of entry meant students could relatively afford an ipad with a decent and comparable experience to the pros. The design of the new ipad is not bad but a $121 price hike makes it simply unaffordable to its intended target audience. This will be exacerbated by the discontinuation of the 9th gen in a year’s time.

Don’t forget that also, the iPad nine has lightning. So if you’re still in that part of the ecosystem, then it would be a great fit, but if you have already adjusted to USB-C, like I have with the iPhone 15 Pro, then I’m better off with the iPad 10 or higher.

Amazing iPad. It looks beautiful and is a real beast. I had an iPad Air 2 and after almost 7 years I upgraded it with iPad 10th generation. In Europe it costs from 600 to 700 euros. All recommendations.

Ipad air 5 is better in my opinion, the old pen is in itself a annoyance, and the apple pencil 2 has never died on me, nor have i ever had a need to charge it less i'm doing a extremely long drawing session. Yet if your major only needs you to use microsoft word, and other simple apps that don't need extreme computing power, just get the m2 ipad 12 with a keyboard and mousepad case and an apple pen. More expensive but it last you long and is multi-purpose, saving you the need of a Laptop + a Tablet and etc. I made that mistake, got an Ipad air 5, omen 16 (which has a terrible battery) and I had to buy a m2 macbook to compensate, but that's because I'm a computer science major, (don't do what i did, do your research, which I failed to do because I just really wanted a HP omen, but it's a really good stationary laptop). Best advice is to know your degree if you really are gonna need a separate laptop since the Ipad is basically getting closer and closer to a laptop every rendition.

After watching Your video, Your the first KZbinr that states that the laminated display isnt a huge difference. I wanted to try out drawing/animation on a digital device, so I was leaning towards iPad 10th, but everybody says the Air is the better choice.. Its a 200euro difference in price and 40eur difference for the pen (240eur together).. worth it ?

Honestly the laminated screen makes a HUGE difference. The note taking experience is unpleasant without this feature. Maybe I’m just spoiled, or whatever. But I can’t stand the gap between my pencil tip and what is being drawn on screen. It drives me insane and makes me feel like I’m drawing on a smart board from 2007. iPad Air all the way. It’s $549 on Amazon right now

It's a good tablet, but i think that the A14 with 4gb ram are a little bit to less for 2024 if you want to use this ipad for ~4 years or more. The ipad air 5 or 6 are better options. I eant to buy an ipad for college and after very much researching, i think that i will buy the air 6. The M2 chip is simply perfect and 8 gb ram with 128gb internal storage is enough.

Here’s what I would say. No matter what, try to stay away from iPad 10th Gen. Reason being you could buy the iPad Air 4 for the same price as the iPad 10 on Apple’s refurbished page. The Air 4 gives access to all the same accessories the the Air 5 has, whilst only being limited by the A14 Bionic chip. (IMO) The iPad 10 is not worth it considering both the Air 4 and 5 are soooo much better. That’s just me. Thoughts?
