This is a excerpt from All Or Nothing: The Frank Sinatra Tribute Show performed at its debut at The Lebanon Farmer's Market in Lebanon PA.
The Best Is Yet To Come by Cy Coleman and Caroline Lea, and arranged by Nelson Riddle.
It's recorded as Sinatra sang it at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas, with his original instrumentation of The Count Basie Orchestra. This is not a traditional karaoke background, but a sophisticated algorithm that removes the vocal from any song. This leaves just the horns and reeds, as Sinatra intended in the background.
This was the last song ever recorded by Mr. SInatra, and, for a time was the epitaph on his tombstone, although Tina has changed it to Loving Father I believe. He recorded this at his wife's charity event at the Sinatra Golf Classic in February of 1995. He was only to do 2 songs and leave, He was 83 at the time. He did one song. Then another. Then another and just through sheer strength, ended up with a 6 song concert.
