Downing Street ran a scheme that employed a military photographer, a serviceman, to spend time photographing the Prime Minister and Downing Street. Each service used to rotate, including the Army, Royal Navy, and RAF. It was an excellent scheme as it allowed service photographers to work in high office, which helped with promotion and enhanced existing skill sets. It also served as an interface between the armed forces and the staff and Prime Minister. It was an honour and privilege to be selected to photograph at that address. As soon as the Labour Party, who are perceived as anti-military, came to power, they terminated the scheme. They advertised for a civilian photographer to take on the role instead. The service photographers were more highly trained in photography than any civilian counterpart. They were security cleared and able to travel worldwide, as well as accompany officials on military bases, vessels, and aircraft. Labour's attitude towards the scheme is seen as a snub to the armed forces.

The best thing for everyone to do is turn up at the local elections en masse and vote Reformuk councillors all over the country.
