Thanks for trying and explaining so many of these Japanese cleansers. I was afraid to buy a lot of skincare when visiting Japan because, unlike Korean brands, I could not find English directions for use on the packaging. I took a risk buying what I thought was a Hello Kitty cleanser at Don Quixote, got back to the U.S., and found out online it was an exfoliating peel 🤦🏽♀️ 😅. This vid makes me feel way more prepared to play (aka buy EVERYTHING lol) when I return to Japan after quarantine is lifted 🙂.

@HoneyButterBiscuits2 жыл бұрын
@@imgonnaputsomedirtinureyedabs Thanks for the suggestion. I did use Google Translate while in Japan, but it wasn't reliable for translating Japanese in 2019. I used it on menus, products in stores, & even to translate directions on the airport toilet 😅 , but it either wouldn't translate anything or only roughly a few words in a sentence. Example: GT described a dryer function as "wind" 🤔. I was able to figure out what that rough translation meant, but it wasn't spot on accurate. I've kept the app because I expect the accuracy has become more reliable over the years 🙂.

Step 1 is oil cleansing! You use it for better removing makeup and sunscreen, though it isn’t necessary! I have dry-combo acne prone skin which is a nightmare and oil cleansing doesn’t dry out my skin bad! If you wanna give it a shot, I love the DHC oil she recommended (I got a tiny bottle from target), or if you’re on a tight budget I recommend buying a bottle of grapeseed oil and mixing with the vitamin e body oil from dollar tree (about 2:1 but it’s kinda whatever)

Hey kimdao. Your happy face and upbeat mood have really helped me during this difficult time. I am a front line worker in the uk and also living alone so it is very lonely. Could i ask your advice on a cleanser suitable for skin which is red and also has acne. I was advised by one specialist to use an enzyme based foam but to avoid acids other than salicylic and advised fragrance free. But i am struggling to find a cleanser which fits in this bracket that is appropriate to use at least once daily if not twice (morning and night).any advice would be appreciated alot.
