Okay Shane one thing that you haven’t mentioned that pays way better than this. Is private music teaching, to do this you need to have a reasonable ability in music, like piano or guitar, you don’t need a university level music qualifications but a bit lower and have strong music theory knowledge which you would anyway doing a reasonable level of music. How much can this pay? $30-50 an hour, you’d be teaching young kids beginner level music and it’s cheaper to go to you rather than an older adult teacher who charges $60-100 an hour.

Got a sales job at a bike shop at 15 to follow my passion. I was a big introvert and hated talking with people that I didn’t know very well. 3 years later this is probably the best thing that ever happened for my social life as I have way more confidence now than before. I’ve worked my way up to $20 and haul in crazy savings on discounts. The one thing you should have mentioned is refereeing. Currently at about $60 an hour for lacrosse.

Resale/Flipping things for a quick buck. Make sure you have a resale certificate from the state in which you live in. Present this to every store in which you are retail arbitraging at (buying items on clearance, is common). This will be a nice way to not spend the sales tax on the sourced items. Sign up for those websites that offer discounts on store products, like Ebates, or Retail Me Not, this will be a great way to lower the price of sourced items. If you want, look for places that will sell you a pallet of items. For roughly 40-400 (simple one box pallet to a full on gaylord) you can resale items, and pick it up locally. Use many places to sell items. Mercari is a great place to sell a pallet of neckties. FB Marketplace and CL is perfect for big heavy items you couldn't sell on your eBay store. eBay, the "product dump" site, is great to sell items for an older audience; picked up remotes at garage sales, estate sales, pawn shops, and Goodwill/Salvation Army can see consistent sales.

I like babysitting because kids tend to like me and my sister is worse than pretty much any kid i'm saddled with, so I can tolerate some of the worst behaved kids ever. I'll also be a certified EMT out of high school because of the classes I take, so I won't have to do this for too much longer. I was taught how to be a sales person and I absolutely hated it. I am very nervous around strangers and more often than not I'm brushed off because I'm too timid and they take that as me not knowing enough about the product.

As a teenager, I didn't like any job that I worked, except for working as a part of computer technical support and tutoring. I agree with most of the jobs on this list, but I simply didn't enjoy physical work. I was more comfortable at the type of work that works with my strengths, such as tutoring, accounting and finance (which is my major). Unfortunately, physical work and sales skills are not considered strengths. Hope that I can turn these weaknesses into strengths.
