@@iliveinsideyourhouse3943 Healthy sleeping habits? Somebody drank the circadian rhythm tea being force fed by psych science gurus?! The problem is that the entire service industry is extremely discriminatory towards vampires, forcing them to throw off their natural cycle in order to get their car registered or medical needs attended to. Personally, I have no problem sleeping during the day. I might lose an hour or 2 of sleep when the only appointment available is during 'normal banking hours'. Less drama = healthier life. Added bonus.. places of business have NOTHING for a line when you are their first customer of the day! I am getting a refund on endless hours of my time by not sitting around in waiting rooms reading decade old magazines and fighting with traffic every time I leave the driveway. That equates to extra sleep that the 'normal' day shift crowd seems to be forced to sacrifice in order to get anything accomplished. Its all about perspective.

@@joefather2463 I think our society and extroverts in particular have misunderstood people labelled as "introverts". I don't believe, based on what I'm seeing from everyone in this thread, and everyone I've ever met, that people are actually distinguishable from being an introvert or an extrovert. If you put a hardcore introverted nerdy scientific physics student in a room with Albert einstein, Neil deGrasse Tyson or someone else, this student would most likely become incredibly excited and energized, because they get to be together with the right people. We all have different personalities and people we like and dislike, and to simply name someone an introvert is being lazy and ignorant. It seems in our society, that introverted people are looked down upon, as if they haven't "learned" to be social, when that isn't really the case. Most introverts just don't like to participate in the loud mouthed, talking environment, where people are rewarded for talking constantly, not listening. The "extroverts" like to lable people as introverts, because it masks any further discussion. That doesn't mean we don't get energized by other people; We just like participating in different social situations. Just because introverts don't enjoy your or any specific type of communication, doesn't mean they lack sociability. There may be a few truly introvert or extrovert people, but today, we are literally labelling 24-40% of our population as introverts, and that is just completely out of proportion. There is no such thing as extroverts or introverts. Rather we have a cult of obnoxious loud people who refuse to acknowledge their own character flaws. And then the so called introverts who simply don't want to waste their breath talking with people who can't seem to think or self reflect deep enough, end up feeling ashamed. It is truly a shame, that our society is like this.

@Rose Lillys, What have you been hearing? Pharmacy is a solid career. Considering the amount of chronically ill people that need medicine to manage their illness this field will continue to grow. There are almost half a million job openings with a 33K median salary for pharmacy technicians. Pharmacists are declining according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Currently, there are 300K job opportunities available with a median annual wage of $128,090 USD. There are opportunities in the field of Pharmacy. Seasoned Pharmacists may not be retiring fast enough could be the case of the rumors.

I’m a intj like Elon, and I want to go into comp sci with a minor in accounting. My plan is to start my own tech company/app. This is because starting you app is way less risky then making a regular business because you don’t have to pay a lot upfront and you can do it all yourself so I’m not risking a lot of money.

@@parker5323 No prob. INFJ here. I'm fairly certain about Elon being an ISTJ with very well developed Ne aspirational, he also finds thinking in "first principles" very difficult but logically necessary and I find thinking in "first principles" isn't that hard for Ni doms like us, that's an Ni strength to get to the essence of the matter. (I'm usually pretty sharp in my observations and can spot errors/misconceptions+nuances that ppl miss who aren't paying attention too deeply) But I'm certainly not above being fallible, so don't just take my word for it: Always verify it yourself if you care to know for sure using your knowledge of cognitive functions and see they match up to reality. (Funny: I've seen the same lists with Elon Musk as INTJ mistype cringeworthy Oprah, a phony sometimes insufferable ESFJ with Ni blind, as INFJ bahaha. And INFJs like INTJs are Ni doms X'D)

i'm getting kind of worried, i currently work in a processing plant in my small home town. i'm not really qualified for a whole lot, i completed high school and that's it, i didn't attend university. i did take a course in hospitality which ended up being a waste because i really don't like customer service, i don't want to do what i'm doing forever. i just have no idea what's going to happen in my future, i'm about to turn 30 and i want to move to a different town and get a job that i at least don't hate.

I am an introvert and I am studying to become an actuary at university. I am certainly an introvert and everyone else that is also studying to be an actuary in my grade are introverts as well. I think I like the idea of being an actuary for that reason. I love people and being within groups of people but it is so tiring and I feel like being an actuary is a nice balance of the two things.

I just did a MBTI test and it said I was a INTJ-A or an Architect personality type. Everything it said was true lol. It interesting to see that most the people I admire and inspire me like Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison all share this personality type. No wonder I feel I can relate with their choices and feel like I know them for some reason even though I've never met them personally.

Working at a ski area as a retail/rental associate might be a little hard to do remotely. Once I start my master's in data science program and have more coding and number crunching experience, then I plan to see about transferring to a corporate position where I could potentially work remotely as an analyst and work my way up to a data scientist. At least it's potentially a foot in the door to a better job with the potential to work remotely! Someday, I will make use of my master's in exercise science. Someday!
