And this is why I keep watching. You go to one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world, and spend about 2 minutes on it, but then you find a real feel-good story about people doing something they love for the sheer love of it. Take your thumbs up, and keep them coming.

I lived in Niagara falls from the time I was born until I was twenty-eight I'm 31 now it is a terrible horrible depressing city.. you're right it's all built for greed in the greed is for the government officials..they don't talk about the crime rate the murder rate they don't talk about anything and I as a tourist stuff. They talk about the casino and the mall and the falls and maid of the mist.. they don't tell you how is she go two blocks past the aquarium on 3rd it is horrible.. hopefully people actually stick to her guide.. and don't go off on their own

I live right outside and just learned it was oringinally filled with people who used it for greed until it was deemed as a public park

I worked on creating A Carousel for Missoula. When we opened, it was amazed at watching the 80 year-old ladies turn into youngsters once the carousel ponies started spinning. Our carousel ponies are hand-carved out of wood and we have the largest band organ in continuous use. Come visit Montana, Casey--I will buy you a ride!

I've never been to Niagara Falls and it's always been on my bucket list. HOWEVER, after seeing that boat with orange clad people crammed in shoulder to shoulder I think I'll just visit there vicariously through you and call it a day. Olcott Beach seems like a real blast from the past though and reminds me of my childhood. Can't wait to see more video of the teaser you ended with. Great videos Casey! I love your sarcastic wit!!

I went to Niagara last year and felt the same disappointment. One of the most charming places is nearby on the Canadian side and the name of the town is Niagara-on-the-Lake. I used to write a monthly newsletter for a b&b there and they have so many things going on all year and the town is incredibly beautiful. I wish I had known about this little place! Thanks for bringing these to our attention!

Nice to hear the Popeye song at the end! I live near Willamette Falls, the largest waterfall by volume in the northwestern US, and home of the first long distance electric transmission line in the US. I have had the opportunity to ride a jet boat up near the base of the falls. Luckily, one of our native tribes recently won the right to build fishing platforms, so in a few years, it's likely to be even more exciting to visit.

Maybe because it was a tourist place but $.25 a ride in the 40's sounds a little high, especially during the depression.

Dearing the depression! Are you crazy people didn’t have money to spare unless they were rich. Plus I paid $.25 in the late 60s to see a double feature movie. That’s per ride not to just to get in the gate. At least that’s how it sounded to me.

Think about it, what your fortune said. School this year will be interesting and fun. You're being schooled on Van life and you're having a lot of fun with it. The first time I went to Niagara Falls was 56 years ago, 1963 and I rode the Maid of the Mist Under the Falls, no bulshit. Back then you were able to ride under the falls. I road the Maid of the Mist again 30 years later, 1993, I think the closest we could get was about 200 yards away from the falls. You get soaking wet. Niagara Falls destroyed my Minolta 35 millimeter camera. It never worked again.
