As a 20 year old its real brick over veneers anyday and I don't care how much more modern your new build is. When a tornado or hurricane hits you're screwed. I'd rather deal with the costs of an older home than to buy a new build. If I ever did want a new build I'd pay for the extra 50k in masonry work for sure.

I live in oak ridge and did the same thing on a motorcycle a few years ago. They took my keys, "seized" my bike and "swabbed" (searched) it for hours. A guy in a bomb squad outfit put a gun in my face, they took photos of my profile, my tattoos, and my bike. Then they drove 4 black suvs around me and escorted me to Knoxville. Needless to say I think they were VERY nice to you :)

When my mother passed, she was cremated. When my older brother got into town I told him and my Dad that I’d put a jingle bell in with moms ashes when I put her in her urn. Yes, I’d already cleared this with dad. And certainly this isn’t the worst we did in regards to a passed relative. Anyway. I told them it was there for mom to jingle if she wanted input on what’s happening. At that point my dad ask my brother to move mom back a little ways on the mantel. Which he did and movement set off a noise maker I’d taken from a greeting card and rigged to go off when the urn was moved. Those cards have come in very handy thru the years lol.

Casey when you jump into history make videos about it. It’s your best work. I promise you have a real connection at bringing these long forgotten stories back to the prominence they still deserve. Please don’t stop. Keep it up.
