Elliott is the best mentor ever, I am following him for 10 years now and I love how he is always miles ahead so it gives me the drive to follow his path. Right now Im where Elliot was when he was starting his boot/strenght camp.

Elliot, man this video was for me. Thank you so much. I’ve had a serious issue with respecting authority all my life. This was some serious insight I needed. Thank you for the work you’re doin. This stuff is SUPER impactful.

I use to be a contrarian and proud, of course these things go hand in hand haha, but when I went to college in 2017 and really stepped out into the world for the first time, naturally feeling compelled to adopt many things I would of considered sheep-like that my peers engaged in, the words "If you don't keep up with the times you will be left in the past behind" came to me one evening on the way home and this is so true still to this day for me. I understand it is normal to be somewhat sceptical on an evolutionary and survival stand point, but not so much that one should isolate themselves and diminish crucial portions of their development for the sake of truly fake authenticity, this can be hard for contrarians as they tend to take things to the extreme just to be seen as more of an individual than the next but with acceptance, honesty, self reflection, understanding and experience it becomes second nature to mitigate such feelings of pride, arrogance, self doubt and self mistrust (cause that's where it stems from in my opinion, scared to be and feel the same as others because you think you are above it all). This can also apply for people on the opposing end of the spectrum that only follow the crowd the same feelings of pride, arrogance, self doubt and self mistrust all apply, funny that. Thank you Elliott for your insight, I find it truly invaluable and mentally stimulating as always!

There are no leaders anymore. Nowadays you'll find men who are deferring to women at workplaces. Men and women at the top despite not knowing anything about the intricate details of the business, still oppress men who are learning and trying to prove their skills. Even if you do prove your skills, get certifications while at the job, by your own investment, and go above and beyond, they'll not appreciate you. On the flip side, if a woman does an iota of something new, she is celebrated and promoted. Speaking from experience here, not theory. Atleast thats what I see here down under. You want to be a leader? Understand this. As long as you work for someone, you are a beta following orders. At best you'll have all of the responsibility and NONE of the authority. The straight forward game plan is to live frugal and save 6 months of salary, in that 6 months try and learn everything about your skill or craft, and take the plunge to building something of your own. Don't worry about not knowing everything about your skill. Learn enough to build something. What if you fail or run out of money? Great, you found the limit of your capacity. Find another job, using whatever you have built in the 6 months to showcase your skill. Rinse and repeat this process until successful! Rant, DONE!
