As a young child I was against having female friends because they were almost the opposite of me, mainly the activities girls did were boring and stupid to me. It felt unnatural to me to be friends with girls. But my parents and modern western culture slowly convinced me that it is normal and even good to have female friends. Since I found traditionalism and religion I now know that my feeling as a child was right all along. I think that a mom can still work as well, but it should be in cause of her being single and more out of survival than out of choice. I think that she should still be domesticated and continue to keep her house and should cook for herself and her children. I am a young single mom and this is how I live. I used to be a stay at home mom before I was single. Now I work 40 hours a week just to be able to pay my rent and provide for my son and myself, but when I’m home with my son, I am very much that classic traditional mother/wife. I just have to be that wife to right person not just to some guy who wants to use me as a placeholder until he finally decides he wants a wife. (Been there, done that.) Until I find a man who is strong and responsible enough to contain and provide for not only me, but for my son as well, I believe I’m doing well enough on my own.

I do have one female friend that isn't my wife, but the meaningful attachment happened when we were children, long before sexual development. When hormones eventually were a factor, we were able to navigate that. If we had met at 14 instead of 7, there would have been no chance. This is sort of a unicorn situation, though. Recently I was introduced to a lady by her father, and I assumed she understands what it means(parental introduction). so we started talking once awhile but I realized she is not being serious with the relationship. This video is a representation of the patriarchy movement that is developing especially in the USA, and even if at first instance it sounds like good advice for relationships and marriage, we need to be careful about embracing this advice. Humbly I would suggest that BEFORE you marry, especially in the period of courtship, there should be the emergence of the quality of best friendship between the couple - how they talk to each other, pray together, and generally prepare themselves for marriage. I think the bible is misunderstood, I think when a husband and wife become one flesh it is through their children. It is a marriage of the genetics because it truly is for life and the marriage doesn't exist unless they consumate the marriage through sex. Im not a religious man but I see the value of having sex when it does have a purpose because "casual" sex has no purpose but for entertainment and most often then not the people that have casual sex want the sex without the consequences of it and would not be having it if it meant a child with the other person. Condoms and birth control have shifted society because it allows two people that otherwise would not be having sex to have sex to get a nut off. Most of the boys in this community would be better off becoming men physically (having peak physical health to pass it down to it's offspring), mentally(having strong mental health that is required to provide mental stability for the emotions of his wife and eventually his kids), and financially( being able to support the wife and children economically to be raised and grow with the right resources on hand) before engaging in purposeful sex in order for it to hold its meaning.

By all means, don't be friends with any woman you have those kinds of feelings for, but there are women whose company you might simply enjoy...this is permitted. It might even be a sign of maturity. Beliefs that men and women can't be friends are culturally derived, they are not universal truths.
