I appreciate you answering the question so much! Part of me felt like there was something wrong with me like I was just anti social but you hit the nail on the head that I wouldn't be introverted at all around like minded people. Most people just aren't like that. I really don't have many, if any deep desires left. I have gotten and gotten then lost enough of them to realize they can't really give me much. I feel my journey is learning to accept that what I have been doing is right for me. I just need to let go of the mind resistance to it. Thanks so much! Added a lot of clarity.

Yes, very good insights here. It has been useful to go and do the things I've "wanted" to do, because when I do them, it gets the desire for that experience out of my system. Either it isn't what I imagined, or it's not that big a deal. At this point, I have no ambitions. There are things I enjoy doing moment to moment, but no more big aspirations. When a little urge to do something comes up, it usually turns out that the purpose is to exhaust the idea that it would be a nice thing to do.

Aren’t we all going to awaken eventually? Maybe I need to be careful about my “choices” because some people and things will move me forward and some will move me backwards, but if I can be honest in my introspection shouldn’t they all be effective in “burning fantasies”? A good question for me is what addictions am I using to escape from inner restlessness. I think the cave is an attempt at a calm mind, but there’s many ways you can do that right in the middle of this chaotic life without even having to leave home. So grateful for these videos

This happened to me after living in a monestary in the mountains for years I travelled back to where I was born to be with my family and it was so overwhelming sensory overload and the family had changed so much that there was no connection. But it was a desire that lead me too that. I ended back up in the monestary. Neither path is easy but I definitely don’t enjoy the toxicity and I’m comfortable with being more introverted. I did plant medicine retreats for years but that has too much intention surrounding it. Self realization needs no intention. Integration is not as exciting as it gets portrayed in the medicine circles, after all the traveling personality falls off self actualization is the fruit of life experience. Fasting involves everything.

I’ve really been appreciating your videos! It reminds me of the humble, irreverent spirituality of my grandfather who was one of my best friends. I’m trying to take in what you said about sexual energy. I’m used to thinking of shooting my shot as being some kind of karma yoga that I do to let the stress out. But I’m curious about the challenge of finding another way to get that energy out. I’m very interested in your thoughts about plant medicine. Right now I’m finding that cannabis is a spiritual tool for me. It feels like I hear God/inner self with a lot more clarity. I’ve been cooking it in my eggs on the weekends. Since I’ve been doing this, I’ve had a lot less urgency about trying to save the world with my important, unique prophetic message, etc. It’s like I can feel in my body that my life by itself is part of God’s learning experience and that’s good enough. I don’t need a Wikipedia bio to make an impact. I don’t need to make an impact.

Hahaha you keep hitting all the things I've been contemplating and meditating on. What the heck. So Ive had this desire to become a monk and/or go give away all my wealth to the poor, and just be one with all. But if i am honest with myself, i know many of my desires are fantasies. So i must approach each desire carefully. Is it from my Self, or from my illusory childish self? It's like you listen to your mind, and go.... okay i dont trust you. We've been here before.... you wanted shit. i turned my life in side out to get that thing... then you didnt want it anymore the moment you got it. idk it feels like dealing with a 3 year old sometimes when inquiring your own desires. Beautiful sunny day and lighting in todays video. Thank you!! I am curious where you are living since you mentioned local people speak Spanish. How do you support yourself financially? Hey, Yash! I always had this question about awakening. Why to awaken you have to suffer a lot. Why you have to feel yourself miserable, broken and etc in the road. I don’t understand why some masters say that you have to kill your mind. How can you kill something that does not physically exist. Maybe exactly this causes suffering, because you play this game with yourself. Consciousness cannot suffer, right? What’s your thoughts on this?
@spiritualrenaissance
@spiritualrenaissance Жыл бұрын
Yes its true what u say. The masters that say kill the mind either arent true masters or they dont really mean it or they are talking to a specific mindset and feel that statement is good for them to hear or shift something. ANd yes, consciousness cant suffer, but the fusion of the mind with consciousness can give an experience of pain because of the friction and resistance that the mind has toward it, and since the consciousness has some identity with this body-mind then it will experience some pain. But without the pain we wouldn't feel the joy as intensely, so its all good and necessary.

What I feel about this whole 'retire to seclusion vs stay in the world' dilemma many people go through, is that if the projected reality (human sub-illusion) still has relevance in one's consciousness, then it is required to be lived in for one's evolution. If one still has these hooks/knots within to do with the man-made reality, then retiring to a cave will just put off whatever has to be faced within until a later date/lifetime. Many people think they are Yogis because they adopt a certain lifestyle and sit in lotus all day long on a hill somewhere, but what defines one as a Yogi or not is whether or not that person knows Yoga - has become the embodiment of reality itself. At that point they are what they are, even in a crowd of people. If there is still mental and emotional distortion within then to think one is a Yogi is delusional; even then, whoever we could call a Yogi (like Yash), wouldn't even refer to themselves as a Yogi in all seriousness, or live by any other sort of definitions. There are many who go and live like this prematurely (especially in India) and end up entangling themselves further into spiritual hallucination. At some point the man-made reality has no relevance anymore and only then can one say they are ready for seclusion, if required. Just my understanding on this anyway.
@spiritualrenaissance

Yes, thats why I like the story of Buddha. He tried all of that (many things) and got organically tired of it all and trying to use the mind to figure it all out and then spontaneously a natural “let go” happened and then, ahhh.. He was happy. But trying is a prerequisite for that to happen. Otherwise we will be like the non dual oaks (spiritual bypassing)....:)

Hey Yash, could you touch on your spin/take on comparing yourself to others? As in, other people that have more of XYZ, status, prestige, money, or doing better and more success. Typical mind scenario is, a person's mind will look at other people's standing and results and feel bad about where they are in their own life. They say the enemy of happiness is comparison. I know you've touched on this topic in small doses throughout all these videos. It would be nice to have one video that dives into the subject matter and keeps it all under one umbrella. Thanks! I resonated when you said in one of your previous videos, Mooji is farther ahead on this reality plane but that's fine, beyond this plane its all one, spirit, god. Something like that lol.

Ill put it on my list. Yes that can be a challenging one (concept) that Maya plays through. Life is designed to constantly show us that someone will always be better than our human self at something and vice versa. This is humbling for the ego but it also helps us realize there truly is nobody that has it all. Its all balanced and fair and we are all imperfect and missing something.

@@spiritualrenaissance I just watched last night. It blew my mind up :)) is it right about the human brain ability when we maximum it? It reminds me about Sadhguru when he talked about the risk if trying to Kundalini by forcing it. He talked that it could kill us mentally and physically because normal human couldn't bear it. I love this movie, but the end confused me about is it possible for him to keep using for the whole life like this without any damages.

@ Mia Ha : yes they are some rare reports in India of people who unnaturally awoke kundalini and there was just a burnt mark left of where they were. Supposedly in the movie he took all the bugs a=out and fine tuned it so that it would be balanced and able to use all the time without consequences. But in real life- it wouldn't be possible to do that...:)

What a great video !! as per !!! for me I am just trying to catch anything that looks like its going to be a short cut, holds the key, creates a got to do list, if I can notice this I feel drawn to staying away from it as although it seems to my mind that it will take me further away from realisation somehow I know its the correct path realisation or no realisation is not important, like other day someone said to me I should do mushrooms as he had almost a answer from God placed in his mind, I felt an urge to want that !! but I noticed it and thought if its actually Gods will then so be it for me to experience it, otherwise I am not looking at the experience I am looking beyond it to the outcome, I think, I still get so confused, dont seem to be able to heart assimilate, but its just the stage I guess I am at !! videos help so much and great question !!! Can you get into - Is it possible to partake this inward journey without suffering trauma as I read a lot no one can enlighten without it !! Blessings my friend - Nick.

there needs to be some level of friction or pain to awaken, otherwise we would just enjoy the dream without having any motivation to see through it. Waking up and transforming is a bit messy because transformation is a kind of death and rebirth. So there needs to be some pain involved-- the question is about the intensity and is it spread out over a long time (life times) or is all of this karma condensed into a short period. But thats individual and contingent upon many factors.

Do you have any thoughts about this period of time Yash? Do you think it would accelerate all human beings without even trying and it would cut some out the earth if those couldn't adjust with this new energy? The more I dive deep into spiritual field in terms of books and scholars articles, I feel it seems to point out that astrology (I'm not sure it's Vedic or not) and mythology is all relating on deep level which is not just beneficial, isn't it?
