HL - No LISA transfers at all? So if I opened a new Dodl LISA I wouldn't be able to transfer my 'old' HL LISA into the newer Dodl LISA?

Andy thanks for another great video Just checked the charges on aj elk and HL As am looking to open my first Lisa before my 40th bd 😊 Aj bell seems cheaper on the transaction fees by £2 per transaction while both have 0.25% annual platform fee

I'v got a help to buy isa from years ago, if you've had it running for a few years does your limit that you put into it yearly effect your new year 20k limit on new isa's?

HL lisa for me people, .25% annual charges, bring a long termer, I'm investing into lloyds, barclays this year with their potential capital growth+more or less guaranteed dividend with all dividend reinvested. IMHO opinion sticking ut in a building society at say 2-3% doesn't really make sense 😊

Do you only get the 25% on money added that year? For example £1000 will get you to £1250 but on year later does it get you £0 if you have added to it

If you're saving for a house deposit, that's probably the best option. If it's for retirement, then S&S is definitely worth considering. Even for first-time buyers, one could consider investing in cash-like money market funds or short-term bonds. But that's probably only for the investing enthusiasts!

Yes but why would you do that? Better to lump £4,000 first and then wait till the next tax year to lump another 4k

Not sure if this is the right video to ask this question but asking anyways. I lost 60 Experian points not sure why tho. Two activities I suspect are: 1) I had 2 amex cards with £2000 limit on each. I swapped limit to make £1000 on one card and £3000 on the other. 2) I used the card with £3000 limit to spend 2500 and paid it back within few days (surely before statement close date) Can any of the above be responsible for the decrease in my credit score by 60? PS. My credit utilization even after the limit swap was under 5% on both card. Any reply would be helpful. Thanks.

I would ask them to increase my upper limit on both cards... so it will look like you are spending less than you can...

Moneybox T&C: "The account is available to UK residents aged 18 to 39. You can transfer an existing Cash Lifetime ISA at any age." Had planned on transferring an existing Skipton LISA (2.3%) to a Moneybox LISA (3.5%). Didn't realise I would be unable to do this as someone aged 40+ .... :/

I transferred my cash LISA from Skipton into Moneybox and I'm over 40. Does say you can transfer one at any age in the bit you copied

@@milestone090 got a reply from Moneybox via email: “You won't be able to open and contribute into a new Lifetime ISA but if your Lifetime ISA was opened and contributed into before your 40th birthday you can transfer this to a new provider and continue to contribute until your 50th birthday. You can request a transfer form in Settings > Transfer > Transfer in. All eligible transfers are processed digitally, so you’ll need to return any completed transfer forms either via the in-app chat, or by email. Once we’ve received your completed form, most transfers are typically complete within 3 weeks.” Andy - I think you might be wrong here(?)
