Dan, this is definitely a great product review video! I've seen others that have been helpful in my decision to buy one in the future, but showing the versatility and different ways you can hold it in place was a great addition. Never would've thought of just placing it in an unused rod holder. I saw the water coming out of your pvc holder on the kayak. I know it probably stays covered most of the time, but you could drill like a 1/4" hole in the bottom or lower outside for it to drain out when it does catch water like that. Just a thought 🤷‍♂️

No it’s not really important to get into more detail. There are tons of options for lithium batteries on the market depending on your needs.

It still works great but I use wireless, battery powered options instead these days. Not as bright but much more user friendly

You'll want to pick up a lithium battery. 8 hours is a long run time. Probably looking at 60-100 amp hours.
