I just took the plunge and bought a 36V 50aH for my Ultrex. We'll see how it performs. Great video man!

How is it performing? I've got a 22ft CC robalo and wonder how one 36V 50ah will last in wind and current.
@eliteangler Жыл бұрын
@@lsufan861 I haven't installed it yet. Waiting on some decent weather. I will be installing the battery the day after tomorrow and won't be able to test until the end of the month. I'll probably upload a video on my experience with it.

I’m new to this and I like the set up. How do you rig it up. 5 batteries and a 4 bank charger. Also, running the sea clear to its own battery.
@pdfishing5625 Жыл бұрын
So my motor keeps the cranking battery charged, the other 4 are hooked up to the charger. The SeaClear has its own connectors that I run a switch from.

I am looking into getting ionic, I was thinking I would need the 100AH and not the 54 or whatever. I see you are running the 54. how long during the day does this last you using the 54?

What are you going to use them for? Trolling motor? Electronics?

Got 2 50ah for my 24v system, fished in 25 to 30 mph winds and killed them in about 6 hours, trading them in for 2 100ah for my 24v system. Should be overkill now, even on those super windy days.
@pdfishing5625 Жыл бұрын
Yea, I still have the (3) 50ah for my 36v system. It was plenty when I had the Garmin Force but since I put the Ultrexx on there I only get about 5-6 hours in heavy 💨. I will probably have to upgrade as well or just buy another Garmin Force to put back on!!

is it better to have to 12v for a 24 or just one 24v for a 24v 80lb fortrex
@pdfishing5625 Жыл бұрын
I don't believe it matters, its all about the amperage of the batteries!

you can run into balancing issues with 2 12's . I would think 1 24v would be better.
@pdfishing5625 Жыл бұрын
@@garydickerson I run (3) 12’s and never had an issue but a single 100 would work just as well with less space used.

I have a 4 bank charger and the 5th is my Cranking battery so the motor keep that one charge. I also have an external if I ever need to charge it..

How much are you using the trolling motor ? I was considering 2 50ah lithium for my 24v trolling motor and was worried it wasn't enough. But you say you are getting a week out of them ??? Incredible
