This is real catch and cook. So tired of all these other channels not doing the "cook" part justice. They always catch it and it's awesome, then they burn the fish on a foil tray they probably didn't wash before. This is what catch and cook means, and it's really satisfying.

jim halpert because people want a quick and easy way to cook their catch. After fishing for 12+ hours, the last thing anyone would want to do is spend a long period of time cooking.

Make a nice seafood red miso broth with that lobster head, add some seaweed and lightly chopped herbs, ah ~~ then relax for the evening, its delicious. Same with Salmon head, I usually make a huge pot of broth, freeze them and then use them for weeks later.

Thanks Taku. After many years of spear fishing I am inspired to go lobster diving. Took vacation on August 31 to be out there at midnight on first day of the season. The lobster ramen did it. I'm sure someone else will tell you this, but that guy could have gotten in trouble w F&G for having that many lobsters in a bag, even if they were all legal. You need to make sure your lobsters are legal before they go in the bag. It's better for the lobsters and will keep you out of trouble.

Awesome vids I love the recipes and cooking techniques. Just to be clear for those attempting to catch lobster for themselves it is illegal to catch and bag under size lobster and measure them on shore or aboard a boat. You must measure and release short lobster without taking them into possession which means you cannot bag them or keep them in any device to be measured at a later time. Also you cannot possess more that 7 legal lobster so a bag of 20 mixed legal and short sized lobster to be sorted later is illegal. Dive safe everyone happy hunting!!
