I didn't get the chance to have a look at it on Saturday, but I have to say you've done a lovely job of building it. I really do feel that MST are missing a trick not having a proper UK distributor. Best thig about the about cfx/cmx is the slightly narrower width comared to most other crawlers. Bunch of awsome tamiya bodies that fit. Planning on doing a highlux hardbody on my cfx and the sand scorcher body on the kids cmx.

Phil, use E6000 on the magnets I'm going on 2 years hard use and the mounts have broke before the magnets came off, which is actually an easier fix depending on how you set your mounts up. Cheers! Great stuff!

Looks great; I probably RC'ed 1/10 rock crawlers more than any other style of RC. The nice thing about crawling and drifting is you don't need a big space. I quickly got bored of breaking my old TMaxx and Revo and walking a mile flipping them upright.

I really like the look of the tyres i think they look really scale. Also I'm a fan of soft tyres tho as you say they have a very soft side wall. Maybe some stronger foams? Truck looks nice mate. I myself just finished building a scx10iii. You might want to consider swapping out the inner foams of those tires or maybe like a nice two stage set. Might help with your sidewall issue.
