Sonic X Shadow Generations is a rerelease of Sonic Generations packaged with a smaller campaign: Shadow Generations, to celebrate the year of Shadow. Initially to boost the hype for the movie and vice versa, Shadow Generations has seemingly shown to be bringing content of the standard Sonic fans have waited around for after some time through the Meta Era, as they call it.
