I'm not a magician, nor have I had any urge to learn/perform magic.. BUT, I randomly stumbled across a Chris Ramsay upload about 1.5 to 2 years ago and absolutely loved it! Ever since, I've watched a ton of videos from this channel. Some of my favorites are the puzzle-solving and all the cardistry (I *somewhat* understand the immense amount of time & devotion that must go into such crazy, smooth, and mesmerizing acts). One thing, however, is ALWAYS constant.. if I'm having a bad week, feeling stressed/depressed, at home sick in bed, or whatever, I KNOW getting on KZbin to watch some Chris Ramsay videos WILL *magically* boost my mood, help me forget about whatever may be going on in my personal life, and it's a positive experience Every. Single. Time! I'm pretty sure Chris could upload videos about almost any kind of content and it would have the same result. He's just a good dude.. plain and simple. Great personality, sense of humor, positive spirit, and definitely an ideal role model for the magic community.. and everyone who views his uploads alike! Chris- Thank You! You've helped me a great deal and I look up to you. I wish you continued great success and look forward to many more uploads from your channel! Peace & Love from Missouri, USA -Todd

This is, in my opinion, one of the best kind of videos you do. I really like this "watching other people doing magic tricks" stuff, on conventions and when you're with friends. Please do more of these videos. Also, I really love how you interact with your fans. The look on the face of the boy at the outro was priceless, as so your reaction to that kid's torn and restored trick. Even he had flashed a few times, you reacted as that was the best performance ever, and it'll surely encourages the kid to keep on the magic tricks' way. Congrats, I'm a huge fan of yours.

I love you man, you are the person who inspired me from the beginning to start doing magic tricks in the first place! I saw your first card trick in the beginning of 2018 and I said right to my dad, “Hey dad can I get a deck of cards?” We went and got a deck of cards and I just started watching all of you videos and I lurked how to do some basic card tricks and then I went on to some of your more advanced tricks and now I am doing advanced slight of hand tricks and it is all because of you! Clearly the kid trick in the end, were different signatures. But love how a young kid is not afraid to mix it up with the adults. Paused the video on the 1st trick and looked more carefully at the deck and saw the same repeating cards, colors etc. So clearly in asking the questions he was able to determine which one. Love figuring out how it is done, and solving "the puzzle"

Notice that deck has the same 8 cards in the same order repeated for or 5 times. Its 7, 4, K, 10, 2, 8*, J, 3. If the spectator says a red card then he knows its the 8 of diamonds cuz in each repeating segment of the same 8 cards the 8 of diamonds is the most visible as it is spaced out wider on each side. If spectator chooses a black card then he knows itsprobably the J cuz thats the other card thr most spaced out on both sides of the jack

Thats actually pretty smart, as when people are picking a card their brain is not focusing on a pattern but a single focus. The magician can get away with it easily in real life.

In the first deck it was 8 cards repeating in the same order all the way through. The second deck he shows was missing all 8 of those cards. I'm not sure what happens if they pick one of the other 7 cards though.
@karadrine
@karadrine 5 жыл бұрын
@@MagnesiumSulfate He determines what you picked with his questions. "Was it red?" is a 50/50. (eliminate 4 cards) "Was it a diamond?" is another 50/50 (eliminate 2 cards). "Was it high or low?" another 50/50 (eliminate the last of two cards). You just pick your 8 cards wisely so you can ask the right questions to lead you to a definitive answer. The cool bit was sneaking in the answer between the queens, and then making it teleport into his pocket.

Chuck Wilson surely it's obvious. If you instead chose 7 hearts, he just changes the card in his pocket to 7 hearts and produces that.
