i mean i’m black so i’ve never had a blush that was “too” much. in fact most blushes i have to constantly dip into over and over for it to show up. i feel like a lot of people ignore that part of makeup. if makeup is “too” pigmented it’s probably bc they wanted it to cater to many different types of people.

I think that what people didn’t realize about the rare beauty blushes because they are so pigmented people of darker complexion are able to use several of the colors and not have to use as much.

What!.....I may need to do some shopping today. I don't have Rosewater yet. I have Orange Blossom, Toasted Caramel and Sparkling Rose along with some of the ones with mattes. I think the matte formula is good but the shimmer formula is really special. Chocolate Dahlia and Glowing Guava? Beautiful colours and they perform well.

He’s not my friend and his blush palettes will be a staple in my kit period. It’s pigmented enough to use on darker complexions and can go on soft enough to work on the palest of complexions. The blending is impeccable and the color range allows you to have one product for any look you are doing. :)

I honestly don’t think anyone would say anything negative about a friends brand, it’s just human nature to be kind to our friends. For example, who would have said anything remotely critical of Raw Beauty Kristi’s palette? She was pregnant, is very involved with the YT beauty community & is probably a great person-who would dare be critical of anything that she released right now? No one (& if someone did, the vitriol of her defenders would be terrifying). I’d rather reviewers just skip the release rather than even attempt the “it’s my friend but I promise I’m impartial! I totally agree with you on the Kosas Tinted Face oil! I got it for myself during quarantine to try and get a nice productive morning routine going for myself and I understand why everyone raves. Kosas has regular sales too so the holiday price tag was fair in my opinion. The undertones are a bit tricky for brown and deeper skintones which is a bit frustrating to have to adjust, but the oils are such wonderful ingredients for the skin and their customer support was really helpful when I had issues with the shade match. Highly recommend!
