Hey Ian, could you make a video covering the history of ergonomics for gun design? How and why the first firearms were designed the way they were, how that changed, how machining and Stamp metal changed that design and ultimately polymer changed that too. Things in particular like rifle stocks to pistol style grips, the change of the shooter’s face being behind the action to moving above and behind the action. Other things like the grip style used on many revolvers to modern day pistol grip design philosophy.

Dunno if you did this, but about your boots getting wet: a good "trick" to dry them up faster is to stuff some magazines, or here one probably must be semantically specific; newspaper, any kind of paper, or whatever absorbs the moisture, one might even fill their boots with rice. You do that before you sleep in a preferably heated space and some magic within the laws of physics _can_ happen.

In weather conditions that will have residents of other states refusing to get out of bed and/or pestering the governor's office to declare an emergency and activate the National Guard, Minnesotans take a minute or two to ponder whether they should put on a long-sleeved shirt.

Ian showed great focus, good constitution but average strength. All this makes for a greatly above average soldier in effect, espescially so in his age. But it goes to show how as we grow older we find in our wisdom that we need more durability so we train for endurance. And "forget" to train 5-10 minute extreme strength requiring excercises in the middle of it all. Speaking of which, my daily routine is coming up and seeing all this here has given me the wisdom to switch my routine up a bit, at least today.

Hahaha I love you had to do the tellu burying, I fondly remember that from military service and am happy to not have to do it again. Too bad you didn't have the actual telamiina with the detonator to put in the middle as well. I hope Jari adds setting up a half team tent and camouflaging it the next time. In the darkness of the night without flashlight because the enemy could see. And then chop firewood. Judo instructor sometimes makes us do the paratrooper burpees as warm up. It's much more tolerable if you don't have the full armor equipment and do all these stages first... I'm pretty sure anything is exhausting with that gear.
