Ive tried this product and it gave me the same allergic reaction as Just For Men. PPD is what youre allergic to. That's the main ingredient in most dyes. I have the same problem. Simpler hair color has another ingredient called TDS which is almost the same as PPD and its supposed to be less toxic. Ive read that TDS is just as toxic as PPD. I had the same allergic reaction as I did wjth Just For Men; maybe even worse. The itching, scabbing, burning, and oozing sores as I did with Just For Men. The first time Ive tried it was hard to cover the greys. I had to color the chin part of my goatee three times before it did its job. First two times it left this blueish hue on the chin part. The next two times I dyed my goatee is when I started to have the allergic reaction. Ive read that once you've become allergic to PPD, theres a high probability that youre gonna be allergic to TDS. Its the same shit, different toilet!

I agree a lot o these companies change their formulas without warning. It’s a bit scary especially for you guys that may experience bad reactions. Fortunately with the dyes I haven’t had any bad reactions...but I’ve had some beard products to irritate my skin. Just gotta be careful and listen to you body when it reacts.👊🏾

My last option is the henna/indigo but I hear you have to let it sit in your beard for four hours. 😐 I have a young face and all this grey. Genetics I guess.

I’m a try this. The only problem I have when dying the beard is it comes out to dark all the time and I even use light brown. Maybe I need a shade lighter but I’m not even sure what that would be lol I been using JFM light brown

Bruh... I'm one of those people who used Just For men for years without issue, then developed a severe allergic reaction to the PPD in it. My face would break out in flaming red rashes and blister sacs. I even switched to Henna King (aka Manly Guy jet black) henna dye and successfully used it for a few years, but then, I guess as my hair got whiter and more stubborn, the henna stopped working. My beard would turn purple, no matter what I tried. And sitting with your henna paste covered face wrapped in plastic for hours every few days was a pain. Then I came across Simpler a few days ago. I ordered it and got it delivered in like 2 days, super fast. I did a patch test first, but instead of leaving it on the skin behind my ear for 10 minutes, I left it on for a hour by accident. Then I waited 2 days. No allergic reaction at all. Vegan ingredients, like they said. I applied it to my full beard and OMG... The color is ultra jet black. Exactly like JFM, but zero irritation. And it leaves your beard smelling wonderful. For me,. it's a wrap. This is THE miracle product.

False advertising & it doesn't work very well. The info commercials stated equal to 4 boxes of other hair color products. With Just for Men I get 4 or 5 uses from just one box. I only got barely 4 treatments with one Simpler container. And with Simpler it barely lasted two weeks before it washed out. And it never even covered the gray very well.

Just want people to know that YES, you can have a bad reaction to this product and to TEST FIRST. I used this product once (Feb 2023) and left it on my beard for 10 minutes before washing it out. Looked great at first but later my face started reacting. It's now 5 days later, and my face is red, irritated, blotchy, puffy and disfigured looking. I can't go into work looking like this. Hopefully this subsides soon. They refunded my money quickly but the email they sent really pissed me off. The first line was an apology, the rest was about how they designed the product to be safe for sensitive skin with all natural ingredients and struck a tone of, It's not us, its you and your stupid face.
