Edit to this video! I was wrong about the stock there's another better stock you can get shout out to psytramper in the comment's for bringing that to my attention. also regarding the under barrel the arm stam drain on the DD vert grip is only 1 sec slower than the M-lok i personally prefer the recoil control but feel free to use the M-lok instead! Also arm.stam drain is buggedb atm so you might aswell choose recoil over arm stam this is just my view and what i like to use and it works for me.

Best in slot stock is the MOE since you can attach a Butt-Pad on it, which provides an additional 4% recoil reduction so you get 10% recoil reduction and 6% handling in total on the stock. With the foregrips I go with my pre commentors mentioned: Less stamina drain is better so you want this number as negative as possible, just like the reload value. I unlocked the MK18 yesterday and I`m having great fun with it, but still trying to find my optimal configuration.

You are right about the stock my mistake and also arm stam drain is bugged ATM so you might aswell go for recoil control

Arm stamina drain is a negative value lol. so you're draining stam faster with the foregrip you chose.

That's what I was thinking too, so for 8% improvement on recoil, we get 28% worse arm Stam drain and 14% worse weapon handling. Don't get me wrong I bet this build still shoots like a laser.

the frame drop when you ADS with a variable zoom scope is not a bug, it’s the way the game renders the image within the scope. Most shooters just zooms in the whole screen to the zoom of the optic, but in this game (and a lot of other realistic shooter e.g. tarkov, insurgency sandstorm, arma, squad etc) they use a technique called “image in image”, basically the scene in front of you is rendered twice, so it renders once normally, and it renders another separate but zoomed in image when you scope in. therefore it uses a ton more resources and causes things to lag, it’s pretty difficult to optimise this unfortunately, but pretty sure the devs are working hard on improving it.

That bug when scoping in is not a bug, it’s because they Use PIP Picture in Picture rendering for it. I don’t think there is much they can do except improve the overall fps

Arm Stamina Drain is the only thing, that you got wrong, it's the opposite, but recoil control is not that noticeable I think. MK18 stock already has super low recoil. I'd rather take the 1sec more ads stamina. May be a life saver

Tbh mate I'm pretty sure arm stam drain is bugged I've been doing testing and even if you put it plus or minus it doesn't change that much I don't think it's working as intended

@@WreckageMG Even if that's true, it's still misinformation in the video and should be addressed so that new players who also don't know how the stats work and lack reading comprehension aren't making decisions based on it when it does get fixed, if it is actually bugged. I also agree that the ADS time is more important, particularly with a mk18 since the recoil pattern is super tight as it is. Easy to full auto this thing from the bags to the targets at the shooting range and have every round hit the black

Apparently but from what I tested it's only one second slower than the other fore grip I would rather the extra recoil control but you can use what ever you want

@@silviumuresan9174 yea I run the angled grip for weapon handling and it shows. The mk is already easy enough to control recoil. I prefer the angled grip and a flash hider for pve. Suppressor for pvp

any weapon is meta as long as it kills. ive killed so many "meta players" and "chads" with shitty ass weapons. meta is just a word for brain rotted idiots who believe they can kill someone just because they have better recoil and ergo. you dont say its the best weapon when you get out gunned by some dude with a 51 pistol or some who is loading one bullet into the mosin at a time. im so tired of people saying its meta. get good

Bugged or not your Arm Stamina Drain comment is VERY misleading. That's basically misinformation to anyone that'll watch this video. For anyone who thinks that having a plus (+) arm stamina drain is more beneficial than having minus (-) arm stamina drain YOU'RE COMPLETELY WRONG. Having a minus stat is more beneficial than having a plus stat. In other words, go for the lowest stat when is comes to Arm Stamina Drain. lol

Unfortunately this game basically calls the DD V7 an mk18 lol….the real original mk 18 was 10.5” or roughly barrel and built for primarily cqb lol. Daniel defense sells their own mk18 nowadays which has kind of taken over the name but it is for sure not like a mod 2 mk18 back in the day.

@@RonnieRawdawg its a MK18 upper receiver in the game and you can swap out the barrel lengths to what you would like. it does indeed go down to a 10.5"
