If you want to use the MK18/M4A1 as a DMR, get the 20 inch. It improves the MOA to 1.14, better for long distance shots.

@@OneShotRich I personally like the 20 inch barrel and i rock the dd foregrip to get to 44% recoil control negatives to this is +16% arm stamina drain and -7% weapon handling but you get no recoil at all on the gun just slight push down on the mouse and you can burst enemies scav and pmc from miles away I've notice arm stamina is a non factor and same with weapon handling in close quarters and for long range you still get a solid 5 seconds before your arm get to sore state

@@Dtk8 moa works, recoil reduction works. Arm endurance and controllability are not worth what recoil control can provide. I didn't see any noticeable changes.

@jondoe3966 arm stamina works atm but it so minimal it's a non factor im talk about .5 second difference from +10% to -10%. As for weapon handling, i think it is more for hip fire. I tested a couple of times I'm not 100% sure, but it seems like the bullet pattern gets tighter on hip fire with better handling but It could just be rng so I don't even consider it when building

I hope they add a VSS one day. My favorite gun. Looks beautiful and lots of utility. If a game has it guarantee I run it even when it's not meta.

Hey Rich, love the videos. Do you think they will increase lobby size as performance gets better and more locations are added? I’m scared pvp occurrences will degrade over time as players spread out

The devs already said that pvp is secondary to the pve side of the game which is why the jungle warfare is so fun to be honest, you never know when you're going to get ambushed but the devs also said in the qna that only 20% of the game is done so there will be random events that all factions will be trying to complete so pvp will be insane at those

on ak platform why nobody using the RK-3 pistol grip? Everybody makes their build with the RK-9 which is not the best in slot.

RK-3 is better than RK-9 but as far as I know you can’t buy it. I loot it and always use it over RK-9

You forgot to mention the level 3 gas block also adds fire rate and it's not shown on the stats but dose incress the RoF . I like the HK full recoil build with a 20 inch barrel and suppressor , the ak74n basically just as you had it set up but with the short'er barrel ( only for inside ) , and i also like the Chinese semi 556 gun if you pimp it up a bunch like an HK , only semi-auto but it slaps when pimped out

USually the first weapon games focus opn is the M4 but AKs have a ton of mods as well so stuff will be added for sure.

You missed the best in slot for the mk18 - 1.83 moa / +43% recoil control / +16% arm stam / -7% weapon handling / +9% reload time. The AFG in no where near the best front grip and the RC is not the best suppressor either

RIS II rails meant for FSP and no FSP on rifle, lmao...Also KAC suppressor is better than Surefire. Mark 18, not mmkay. FDE not tan. 5.45 does not have recoil, use a suppressor. Brake on 7.62. Only use 5.56 or 5.45, 7.62 ammo sucks against armor. M855/A1 and 5.45 BP.

The kac flash hider is worse than the surefire flash hider. It means the surefire suppressor combo ends up being better than kac

"Recoil Reduction" and "Recoil Control" are two separate stats, so no, the flash hider does not do the same thing as something like a foregrip

762x39 is broken so its not even close to meta considering it cant even penetrate bushes and even with $5 a pop BP rounds the unarmored scavs can survive headshots and with armor players and scavs can survive entire mags to the chest and head from 762 and + reload speed is bad btw, its not entirely clear if the + or - stats are good because they all vary but its definitely clear that 60 round mags with the negative are slower than the 32 round dd mags with a positive stat and you left off the vudu 1-6x that's actually meta that you get from level 3 turncoat on one of the sks builds because the razer has no ring of death that gives a massive advantage in close range pvp

Lol why? The only reason you'd use a riser is to cowitness your iron sights but if there are no irons on your ar or you don't care about the cowitness that's only there to be a backup if the sight dies or breaks then it works just fine

@@zen_d0461 no, the reason the M16 used carry handle iron sights is because of the buffer tube, making the cheek weld the same level as the barrel. Every single other rifle that isn’t a AR style have a stock which is slanted down or starts lower on the rifle. Aiming with a AK is much easier because of the stock than to aim a AR irons on the rail. I would like you to try to aim through a micro dot without a riser too, you would a small head to even see the dot.

Is there a way to put a scope on the SKS? Granted i only have some level 2 traders, but i can only manage to put a red dot on it. Its a great plinker, would love to muck around with it and a scope

Yes at level 3 turncoat you get a rail and chassis that allows scopes but because 762 is hot garbage for now so it's not very good, 762 can't even penetrate bushes so don't use it until they fix it

If you want a true meta M4/MK18 you need to buy the prebuilt MK18 with 20 inch barrel gets you 1.14 MOA and better velocity

This is a solid option, but do you not lose weapon handling with the 20 inch? Trying to find a basis with CQB and medium to long range!

@OneShotRich no weapon handling lose with it. I'm not home atm. But I'm fairly certain barrels only have positives no negatives except obviously barrel stuffing going into buildings. I would need to test if it does affect weapon handling because stats don't say they do. honestly a 16inch barrel might be the way over a 18 inch if you plan to go in buildings constantly.
