I became interested in a mini PC by watching this channel a while back, so when my old desktop started slowing down, I started doing my research. After checking out many, many different mini PCs, I ended up buying the SER6 32GB/1TB version for $479. I mainly wanted it for emulation but decided when I got it to put it through the paces and downloaded Destiny 2. It played it without batting an eye. I have since begun playing Genshin Impact with my wife and this little PC handles it like a champ. I love knowing that I can upgrade the RAM to 64GB in the future, as well as adding another SSD when finances allow. I can wholeheartedly recommend this PC for anyone looking to get into mini PCs for gaming.

We knew this would play all the retro emulators. What we didn’t know is what amount of upscaling we could do on this machine- that’s relevant. Base settings game play, with no FOS shown, that’s not!!

My research showed that something simular cost about 450. At 380 its a good deal for sure. But still guys this ryzen 5 at 3.8ghz with vega 11 cost me 120 bucks. And i can honestly say i have not had a single retrogame that wont work properly. All retrogames work. I bought 2 drives now and got 5tb in retrogames. Now just need few more ps3, xbox, wii u, switch games and im done. Totall package 330 euro inc 1 tb ssd with about 5k new retro and about 100k old retro and the 2 drives included. Not bad for litterally all consoles i like with almost all games i want. Also plays the newer stuff and still its pretty playable. Next year my budget will allow a new pc or laptop. Think i will go for a solidstate laptop with radeon 780m wich i did find secondhand 550. New still at 1500. Crazy prices, but dont matter. My man retroguy gives awesome reviews wich made my mini retrogaming pc build.. a darn blast to do 😂💯 thx man these vids really help.

When you run emulators like ps2 and higher, csn you upgrade the resolution and do thry still run well? I'm looking to buy a mini pc just for emulators to hook up to a 55" TV so would need to up the resolution so they look good. I currently use a nvidia shield tv but it only runs up to Dreamcast without any issues and I want to play ps2, xbox 1, xbox 360, ps3 and any other good emulators

Do you think this has the ability to play game as well as record game play and face camera at the same time? I am looking at "upgrading" my 4yr old PC and have been looking at these mini pc's as I have bought the wife one for work and see it can also play FIFA on high settings extremely well, I am just unsure how it'd go under that much load

Very impressive for under $400. Love this product. Sleek design, very accessible for customization. I mean you got into it in less than a minute, and they left room to quickly toss more RAM in there, toss a bigger drive in there. It's got a Ryzen 9 chip, a 680M graphics card...dude! For the price, this is an amazing machine. This should run ps3/xbox 360/switch emulation with no issues. Probably ps4 also, and most modern PC games with mid settings. You said your next review would be outstanding, and you didn't disappoint. Awesome machine, and amazing review!

I haven't seen the 12tb drive or what it has to offer, but I'm gonna assume the few "ps5" titles are PC versions of popular ps5 games (most drives I see have RE4 Remake, GOW: Rag, and Cyberpunk). And yes, this mini-pc should be able to run ps3/xbox 360/switch emulation without difficulty, and with some minor tweaks u should get fair ps4 emulation, which is still in the early stages, for the bootable titles. The "ps5" games, as well as modern PC titles, should run on mid settings with solid frame rates

I don't wanna give u false information, but if I had to guess based on specs, ryzen 9 with rdna2 680m, it'll probably be fine on low settings 1080p. I wouldn't expect more, but that SHOULD (bold in place of italics) be fine

there are lots of ppl like you, fried brand new mini-pcs. there's even a reedit for it . I think mini pcs are a mafia, unrealiable, no screens , overpriced. I bought a 50$ japanese fujitsu laptop from a lady, brand new mint. 15 year old machine, flashed windows 11 and put a 1tb HDD with a full retrobat V6.3 (latest( and it plays everything like a charm,snappy fella.

I think the answer is based on the format of the device you're talking about. if it's Linux, then it will work on Linux. if it's windows, your mini pc needs to be on windows? hope this helps someone. I hope to buy a ser 6 max soon. seems like the price for gaming selection. that's not $500+ that I've seen

I believe so you may need to do additional modding on the cab but yeah. I'm familiar with a1up modding not legends. Probably a similar process.

PS4 emulation isn't possible on ANY PC. Even if it was you would need a powerful beast of a PC

That simply isn't so. While still in early stages of development, there have been 16 (that I known of) titles that have booted successfully on the shadps4 emulator, the most recent titles playable being Shenmue II and Red Dead Redemption. This machine should get you 60 fps 1080p low settings, with dips to 45ish fps, IMHO

@@shanea6231 No, all this stuff is accessible to anyone it's all open source, and anyone can download the shadps4 emulator and whatever ps4 roms u want, even ones not currently working. Anyone can rip a game rom, dude. U can rip a ps5 game, there just isn't any software that'll run it right now. But there IS software that'll run a couple ps4 games, like the shadps4 emulator, that's publicly available, and there are some working titles. Google it, bro

It was at $389 until today. now it's back to full price. Keep an eye on it. Amazon usually brings the sales back regularly with mini PCs. Beelink has had sales running for months. Probably taking advantage now of the back to school rush.

$389 was the price at the time of the recording. List price is $499. Sales always end but on Amazon they typically go back up pretty frequently. I never said it was too inexpensive... I said it's an amazing deal at that price but it's worth the retail price as well.

@@OfficialChaseBrogan Yeah, coming from a viewers perspective, hearing a price range for an SER6 at a midrange of $300 is very sweet. Especially when an SER5 Max is at around the same price. We all know that price fluctuates and that a consumer that is attentive can get a good deal. However what gets under the skin of buyers is the $X99.99 bracket. Like for instance, saying $389 is a good deal since $300 is the first thing that catches a consumer's eye. And if the customer is NOT aware of the $89.00 that comes after the $300, then that sweet spot doesn't look sweet at all, but makes one feel a fool for believing in a lie. Also, it may not be good practice for someone to say that eventhough a product is priced at a competitive price point (about $350 ish), to then say that one's viewer should not mind to spend more like say $100 to $120 more is a good deal, because this gives an impression that one is taking advantage of their viewers rather than looking out for those who observe and listen. Everyone knows these days that folks have to have a job in order to make a living. However, no matter if one is a doctor, a grocery clerk, mailman, DMV worker or content provider, those ones whom one serve is a human being, therefore we all want love, compassion, truth and honesty. Otherwise, what world are we creating then if all we have are individuals who want to make a quick buck for themselves. What I am saying here is that no matter if one is a doctor, clerk or a content provider, if folks see and observe honest folk, then folks will trust the honest one much more than those who pulls the rug out of their foot. Overall, I love your review and it also gave me some insight about this product. Don't believe what I say above, for it is only used to provide feedback for one to only think about if it is of value. There are 2 games just released and 6 more coming Q1 2025 that this mini pc cannot play. It's all well to know that a new machine can play old games but it is VITAL that a new machine can play NEW games. This one will not.
