This video is one of the best examples of why we all play the game, the friends and relationships you meet and form are unforgettable and in my opinion, the best part of the game! Seeing all of you check on each other between rounds and support each other, the chemistry here is probably the most wholesome thing I've ever seen! Congrats on top 32!!!!

I miss playing in events like this. I did with yugioh and top 8’d several regionals, never Pokémon, but the atmosphere is just so amazing. I only play Pokémon casually but I love your videos and CONGRATS ON THE TOP 32 THATS INCREDIBLE. Especially with a somewhat rogue deck. I used to love seeing rogue decks succeed at yugioh tourneys and Pokémon generally is a lot more matchup/luck based so super cool you built a deck that could compete at that level that most people didn’t even consider. Well done 🎉

I haven't really followed the scene (at all in fact), except just recently when I came back to playing on PTCGL. Before that, it's been 2 decades since I last played actual Pokemon cards. This run/vlog of yours is an inspiration! Especially to someone who now has a lot of responsibilities as an adult & parent -- to just follow your heart & what your gut tells you to do.

I’m a beginner and a novice to PTCG and I really really enjoy your videos! Congratulations on your finish at Worlds! I absolutely love Japan and glad you had an amazing time reconnecting from your time there a long time ago! I’m just playing with friends and occasionally on PTCGL. Love my Chien-Pao, Garde and Mew VMax decks. Keep up the great content!

Hey brother, first of all congrats at Worlds! You placed amazingly and are definitely a massive name and influence in this community. Secondly, dude you were not kidding with this deck. I imported your deck to live and only changed like 2 or 3 cards and I kid you not, I went from rank 640 when starting, to then playing ONLY this deck and I have now climbed to rank 1,000 on the ladder in only a couple days. It's INSANEEEEEEEEEEE!

Excited to see the back of our heads in the vid 😂 Wish we could of met you properly there, but hopefully another time. Thanks for all you do, and congrats again. About the Sponsor- Hes totally right. i've Struggled with finding good sleves, things like ultra pro and KMC were alright for binders but i didnt like them for play. Watching the tabletop videos and seeing that dragonshield was always used, i ordered some and i easily prefer them to anything else ive used. they're amazing for play and collecting!

Look, i am not even the best Pokemon TCG player around, and sometimes i do not care if i win or lose in an official competition in my local town, but it's the event, the community, the friendship of Pokemon TCG, the collecting, trading, buying and selling, sharing with ranmdom strangers about deck tactics, anything Pokemon related, is what have kept me in the Pokemon TCG for 20 years. This is why i am in Pokemon TCG.

Amazing job! Happy to see you put in work with Miraidon. Been having fun with decklist online. Looking forward to vlog 2! You mentioned potentially putting in Drapion for Mew VMAX matchup. What would you have swapped out?
@IANDURBECK Жыл бұрын
Im heading for a tournament tomorrow and one thing I do predict and expect is mew. My submitted Miraidon deck list has the Drapion, fortunately as I always expected it to be a popular pick. Also its funny, I didnt realize that the deck I studied to make my own, was actually yours. Its a fantastic deck! Sadly I had to remove my favorite chard that made me pick Miraidon in the 1st place (Vstar Zeraora) UPDATE : The event went amazing. Sadly I got 12th place only, which is pretty good already. The anti mew changes did phenomenally well, but lost due to a mistake that lead to judges calling a game loss :( otherwise I'd have a good chance to win the whole thing

Congratz on your top 32 placement and for bringing such a different deck to worlds. Seeing all that Mew VMAX and Lost box this meta is such a yawn fest, I can't wait for those cards to rotate! Also question, what's the primary use being the Zeraora tech? To pick off specifically Archeops? or other lightning-weak evolution mons? I've seen my opponent use them before and all they've done is sit on the bench.
