Tiny thing I must point out. Bubbly dance 1 and 2 are worthless outside of mizu hunts. HOWEVER, at level 3, bubbly dance can inflict you with bubbleblight triggering bubbleblight. This offers an alternative to artful dodger, OR a way to trigger resuscitate in hunts. And in addition to this, there has been something in mainline that some conditions get overridden by another condition, and bubbly dance may do this with poison and bleed

Yeah, on paper, it looks pretty good!🤔 I see bubbly dance as a fairly reliable way to proc the resuscitate attack bonus (dodging around all the time is the only way to position yourself anyway!😅), and the skills seem to take advantage of the extra evasiveness. HOWEVER, don’t forget to take practicality into account with theory-crafting! You’re going to have to upgrade most of that armor to grade 8 to even *unlock* the driftsmelt slots…and then there’s the *actual* driftsmelting, which is basically a lottery to get the skills you actually want!😅 Anyway, not to dissuade you, but at HR 46, you’ll probably get more immediate results with jyura chest and gloves, and jagras greaves (by far the easiest way to get water +5), and go from there?😉

So yesterday I had to pick up a prescription halfway across the city and I decided to just walk back home, so I can spend max amount of time farming that thing. Before I even went to pick it up, I fought it like 3 times. Once at home, 5 star, no problem. Died before it could do anything. Then I fought 2 7starred ones and I absolutely wanted to vomit. While it goes down quite quickly WHEN IT"S NOT JUMPING AROUND LIKE CRAZY, it has the most garbage moveset. That water spewing, the bubbles that are EVERYWHERE, and the jumping around is so damn infuriating. And for whatever damn reason I can barely withstand a single hit while I can withstand 1 hit from 8 star monsters. I'm already so over this thing. And on my way home I barely saw one. I used up pot after pot. I'll probably be getting a proper weapon/armor upgrade once the event ends and it ends up in HATs rather than it running around during the event. I've used a Grade 9 Bone gunlance, a thunder SnS build, and a dragon bow build so far. All of them have a caveat, but so far the bow seemed to have been the most comfortable way of killing it. So damn aggravating to fight.

Nice! I just need to make a grade 8 head and a grade 8 Light bow gun. XD I got Rality 6, but I couldn't double it. The screen froze for some reason. TOT

Super under whelming! However... It only took almost a year for water builds to get this much needed head piece. Niantic/Capcom has been doing great... but to change the games title screen splash art for this? I think it's a bit of a mis-step. If this armor is preparing us to face a ton of annoying status effects. That will also be a huge mis-step.

Yeah man, the helm is the only thing I'll be crafting... though I have to find a way to get focus back up if I replace my favourite Azure helm with the Mizu helm as I main Bow.

Something fairly important to mention: getting Bubbly Dance to +3 makes it so you can give yourself bubble status after evading a few times…no Mitzu needed! (Or *wanted* because skills that require getting hit by attacks are bad for potion use!😅) I think the intent was to get bubble dance +3 and ressuscite +3, so you could slip and slide around with a straight-up 120% attack for as long as you can keep up the self-afflicted bubble status on yourself! …HOWEVER, that’s a three armor piece investment that doesn’t leave room for much else…so, beyond the useful helmet, I’d say the rest of the set is too gimmicky to use!😛 (unless you’re willing to driftsmelt it excessively…but there’s far better armor pieces to prioritize over a gimmick set!😅)

This is true. However, outside of Mizu there really isn't much use for it at all. Its the same for the main series games. Like you mentioned, the three piece investment leaves little room for anything else and pretty much unattainable for ranged users haha

@@KINGOFCHARMANDERS i think bubble dance+3 and resusictate +5 (when avalible) could be interesting on endgame weapons. when you have about 2500dmg and you get 40% bonus when bubble blighted you get about +1000dmg , when +5 elemental attack gives only +500dmg. it could be quite interesting

@@KINGOFCHARMANDERS i think the point is that you're self afflicting to boost your damage. rank 3 of bubbly dance causes your evasions to afflict you with bubble blight

Sorry if I am missing something but couldnt the set be usefull against any monster because you can self inflict bubbleblight at bubbly dance level 3 to get increased perfect evades and the 20% damage buff from resuscitate. I assume damage output is still not as good as some other sets but you should still be able to get some use out of it right?

Coral helm, pink rath waist, and the rest Mitzu gives lock-on, +2 crit eye and W.E, and +3 bubble and resuscitate…I don’t see it get any better than that?🤔 There are six driftsmelt slots, but that is an ugly investment. (…and ranged is out of luck because the Mitzu armor pieces conflict with essential ranged armor pieces!😓)

Outside of Mizu where you'll open a window of damage because of bubbleblight its pretty much useless against anything else because of the 3 armor investment you make to get Bubbly 3 and Resus 3

You kept mentioning bubbly dance only working against mizu but Bubbly Dance 3 GIVES you bubble blight even when you aren’t fighting mizu. So you should be able to proc Resuscitate consistently in other fights.

Per proven data, unless its literally near Maxed out no its not and even then do you really want to mess up your mechanics or have to adapt to them just for a smaller damage bonus? Not worth.

Lol i was the guy that mentioned 2 driftsmelt slots. So let me ask the stupid question again. How does aggressive dodger work with resuscitate? Bubbly dance 3 gives us bubble bligth, resuscitate gives us attack multiplier and then aggressive dodger gives us another. Is it multipied or added? Either way i see gs users going dodge dodge one shot. And please dont hate, I'm a newb.

I'll be swapping the Kadachi helm and Jagras greaves for the Mitzusune helm and Azure Rathalos greaves on my water LBG set to get up to 3/3/4 before driftsmelting. Makes the Azure Rathalos greaves useful across all LBG element sets, along with Paolumu chest and potentially Coral Pukei Pukei waist.

Duff McWhalen's stage track as slapped, even if its a retrain of Bubble Crabs from X2 Having the chest with 2 driftslots and 2 levels of buddledance already is honestly really cool, as well as the arms having that last level and resc. Chest and Arms being 2 flexible parts. Though like you said, you need BOTH to trigger Bubble Dance yourself without the need of Mizu being there...

Mizutsune's moveset is pretty managable. Got my first mizutsune plate on my first encounter. In mhnquest it doesnt show what part to focus to improve the drop rate of plates.

I don't know about weap. I think Corel pukei still better. But i love the design of mizu gs, ls, n db. Maybe ill build one of them...

Coral isn't better because it doesn't give you that affinity boost. If you proc early on you'll already do more damage than Coral will ever do. Earplugs vs Artful is also the reason why Mizu is factually better.
