Its too small for my hands (1.96m tall man). So I bought the Gamesir G8 Galileo instead, and it fits better because of the design and grips. Other thing that I dont like on X2 is the position of Right Analog Stick, its too close on the buttons and on G8 its on a better place. 😊

Will it work with a phone case? Yes, if you make a small mod 😏 I have an s24 ultra and the X2s. I used a razor to remove the rubber to the sides of the usb c connector and now all my cases fit.

I can see the portfolio cases being an issue since with the USB port being on the left side of the controller, that portfolio flap will be above the phone and constantly threaten to shut down on your phone.

Great video 🙂 It's my current favourite, yes even over the G8! Both are amazing, different controllers suit different games/platforms/genres etc. I also have the 2gen Backbone One. Love all 3 but my current favourite is this new X2S 🔥 it's just perfect, I have a list of all the little subtle but important updates/tweaks/improvements they've made over the X2 & X2 Pro & the list is long!!! It all amounts to a nice fairly priced controller 😊

How does this compare to the X2 pro? I have the x2 pro, but the flexible USB c plug for the phone has one of the pegs broken off when dropped so it makes it hard to plug in my phone. I looked online and unable to find a replacement flexible usb c port, even though its removable with a ribbon cable.

I have Gamesir X3 pro (got it used with half price almost a year ago) with integrated fans behind. Love it , the fans help a lot to prolong performance and kept it cool with something like Yuzu NCE (it drain battery fast, believe me), but the form factor is not my favourite, it cramped my hand during holding sometimes. Something like G8 form factor with integrated fans behind would have been better.

I love their old usb-c controller. The only issue is that it seems to stop working when I plug in or unplug it in for pass through charging. If I start a game charging, I can't unplug until I'm done.

I wonder if they did anything to make the USB-C plug more robust. I have the X2 pro and one of the pegs holding the plug broke. I had to open the whole thing up and shove a piece of foam in there to give the plug enough support to continue using the controller.

The face buttons are not magnetic are they? I had issues with the last x2 that had magnetic buttons. The magnets weren't strong enough and sometimes my fingers would stick and pull the buttons off when I lifted my fingers off of the face buttons.

I've tried a few of these over the years and guess what I've found is the best option? Using a phone clip on a XBOX controller. The only down-side to it is the weird weight balance. Other than that, it is by far the best option out there in my experience.

I currently have an X2 that works great on my Z Fold 5, but I'm hearing reports that this X2s does NOT work with the Z Fold 5 (Potentially other Z Folds as well) that have cases on them. sometimes depends on the phone model. doesn't really matter. I had one time playing Fortnite with g8, the game requires me turning off the del options since I used their g-touch mode playing onscreen game. Fortnite just wanna make sure gamers aren't cheating in the game. not a big deal.

No, on bt 5.1 or higher we cant feel the latency. I think they are doing this to launch many models and profit with it, like version BT mode/ Version with Rumble/ Version with touchpad, etc. Its on their agenda. 😊

I used to play with 8bitdo ultimate bluetooth on ipad mini 6 at bluetooth connection, even with bluetooth 5.0 u can feel delay exspecially in fps game, then i buy gamesir t4 kaleid wired connected, its much less delay i'm pretty sure ! And if u play the game at 120fps, it's almost feel like 0 delay.

I prefer x2s. it's portable. it's featuring hall based sticks. guys, gotta know this is the latest tech. nobody is using alps sticks sooner. big controller is a lil inconvenient for me since most of my time playing is during the little time during my work. I am a lift-fork drive, so x2s is definitely better than a big thing in my pocket.
