Can you please do a video on how to reduce muscle guarding? It’s a topic not really covered on KZbin. After several knee injuries my leg is constantly guarding and I’m unable to fix it

Carlos should incorporate unilateral exercises into his training program, and then Carlos won't be so stiff and his core will be stronger. By the way, from now on the unit of measurement of stiffness is 1 Carlos. Like "I'm feeling 3 Carlos stiff today." Love your videos, keep it up 💪🏼

@NatePhysicsTutor2 ай бұрын
On the first strech I've seen you suggest the basic version before. Do you have an explanation of what this motion is doing? You mentioned the outcome but I'd also like to understand the theory underlying it.

Please like so this stays up :) Hey Conor. As you know, people usually have quad/hamstring muscle imbalances. I guess that bodybuilders can have a bigger imbalance. Do you think that exercises like 90/90 will be effective to reduce that imbalance and tilt the pelvis back? Thank you!
@earlyhemisphere3 ай бұрын
Quad/hamstring imbalances are a result of lack of rotation, not a cause.
@federerized4933 ай бұрын
@@earlyhemisphere Rotation can be a part, but going upstairs and down stairs, bending down, these all work the quads more than the hamstrings. That is likely why 9 people out of 10 have Q/H imbalances

Loved all your programs. You rock ! I learned soooo much. 😊 Can you tell me why you chose to put ball between thighs. He appears to me to be the typical wide ISA with PPC posterior pelvic compression. I can see feet turning out so he needs more Pelvic IR … yes ??
@casey61043 ай бұрын
It gives your legs some resistance, which makes it easier to generate that tension.
@jamesyancharas2 ай бұрын
The need for pelvic IR is exactly why there is a ball😊
@casey61042 ай бұрын
@@jamesyancharas yes, and the ball forces the tension to occur at the pelvis instead of the knees.

hey conor , I wanted to ask for a person who's got sacrilised bones at his lower back , where his last bone above sacrum is sacralised , due to which , different compensations could be imagined than what we've studied already , and also due to that stool passage could become an issue of itself , due to excessive posterior rotation of sacrum , what do u think are corrective exercises most relevant in his case.

Bodybuilders also don't work on torso rotation, because they avoid to build obliques (IMO this is nonsense in bodybuilding world/arbitary).
