I think the final tease is for "chaos dwarves". Might also explain why GW so quickly retired the horns of hashut warcry warband, which is like 1 to 2 years old maybe? I am guessing this kit will come back and be incorporated into the hashut dwarves.

Was waiting to start a Deathrattle army, and oh boy am I glad I waited. These skeletons look absolutely gorgeous, and there's even a Spearhead to go with it. Will buy the collector's box along with the Spearhead, no questions asked.

Haha me too, I was about to buy the Soulblight Spearhead a few weeks ago and I just thought I'd wait and see what was shown off at LVO, and I've very glad I decided to hold off for a while! :D

They all look great! I like the updated grave guard. I appreciate that the helms look similar to the old models, but I kind of miss all the variety of head options.

Yeah I do worry they're gonna be a lot less customisable than the old ones, but I do love them overall I'm just so pleased to see some of those older kits finally get a well deserved update! :)

I cannot wait for these models to drop. I didn't intend to run a full skelly army, but shit I might now. But I'm stoked about the Vampire Lord on Steed for my Blood Knights.

I need to buy the Vamp Lord on Steed... and also maybe another box or 2 of Blood Knights, I only have 10, but the idea of a fully mounted Army with some Dragons flying overhead just... makes me very, very happy! Haha

@ I’m currently running 10 Blood Knights w/ Vordhrai but the idea of going full Skelly and Vamp cavalry with Wight King/Lord and VLord on Steed is really appealing. Regardless, this is a fantastic drop (imo) and I’m super excited about the various builds.

these look so good. i have minor complaints (didn't need a new mounted wight fighty hero, needed new vargheists, or if they really wanted skeletons only to be viable a skeleton mage), but they hardly matter when the models are this good. vhordrai in particular is spectacular.

I agree on the Vargheists I'd love some new ones, I was building some Crypt Horrors for the FEC the other night and thought how good a replacement kit for both those would be, I hope they come with FEC, I'm also curious about whether the Terrorgheist is gonna get a new kit as it obviously won't be a dual kit with this Dragon option anymore! Wonder if it'll come in a new, standalone box when the FEC Battletome releases?

Certainly picking up the army box and the spearhead box. I already have the original skeleton start collecting box and 40 skeleton warriors (10 Fantasy, 10 cursed city, 20 current). Totals will be: 1 Wight King on horse 1 Wight Lord on horse 1 Wight King on foot 10 Barrow Knights + 5 Black Knights 30 Barrow Guard + 20 Graveguard 60 Skeleton Warriors Will putting the Barrow Knights with the Wight Lord on horse, Barrow Guard with Wight King on horse, and skeleton warriors go with Wight King on foot. Only problem I see is maybe limited to no magic. A skeleton wizard would’ve been a nice addition, but very very happy with what they are releasing!

I would LOVE some kind of Skeleton Mage for sure! But either way this new release is such a big win for me, I love all of it - and likewise I want to get a load more skeletons for my Deathrattle, I think I have 30 at the moment but they're ALL the Cursed City ones, so it's a bit boring to look at them all lined up!

Yeah I think unfortunately not, they'd have almost certainly said if it was, I think it's just gonna be the new Spearhead Box and the current one, so at least you do get an option of 2 to choose from!

does it look like the base sizes are changing much? everything looks fantastic and very excited for it but a bit concerned my current zombie dragon/terrorgheists are not going to be useable, and the same might happen with black knight and wight king on steed models

The Zombie Dragon is going to a 160mm base they said, so that's definitely a bit bigger than the current one which is 130, they did say you can use your current Grave Guard/Black Knights as the new Barrow versions, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're correct - I've seen a few people on forums saying they felt based on the Spearhead Box the GG might be on bigger bases now which would be a shame if so, but personally from my perspective they look like they're still on the same size as current, so I have my fingers crossed it won't change! :)

So the current Zombie Dragon is a dual kit with the Terrorgheist so... I'm of two minds, obviously the FEC have the Terrorgheist so they can't really get rid of the kit with the Soulblight release, but whether Soulblight lose it as an option in their Battletome, and then the FEC get a reboxed Terrorgheist ONLY kit, maybe with some kind of named rider dual kit (wishful thinking...) but then the two options are wholly separate for each Battletome, FEC with the Terrorgheist and Soulblight with the Draconith?

I don't like the dragon sculpt. Focus point is decentralised and it's extremely weird. On the other hand... the guy on the rhose... god damn

Yeah that's fair, i love it personally but do completely get the focus point issue, it might appeal to you more when we can see it in person and get a fuller view of it in 3d! But yeah Vhordrai just looks spectacular! I'm so impressed by him!
