I used the Mini configurator for the first time today to visualise a cream coloured Cooper with black bonnet stripes. Competitively priced at £18.5K for a car that matches a 205 GTi 1.9 in performance and it would also fit into my small garage! I now get why they are so popular.

I've been watching a few Mini Cooper vids recently solely for the sheer happiness you get from the exhaust notes but, my oh my. This car has definitely done that and much more. I'm sitting here with a wide grin plastered across my face with absolute respect for the owner's choice of setup and the way it has been presented by Peter and Vince. @@Wisey_83 Many years ago I had a MK2 Zetec S Mondeo (loved that car sadly not a ST200 though), wolfrace wheels, lowered, and just had a full stainless rally sport rasping twin exit exhaust fitted right before our holiday, From the Midlands down to Gatwick South, for the first few miles on the M1 the sound was great but after a couple hours singing at motorways speeds the mrs and kids were done with it as it was 2am and they couldn't sleep very well, so on return I had a box fitted to quiet it down a bit

Such an insane build, I just took delivery of a JCW GP (that I plan to keep completely stock) but seeing the amount of work this person put in is crazy. I think my car tuning days are over, I had a 426whp Type R that was good for a while... but then it all went up in flames (literally) lol.

We (my missus and I) have an R56 S cabrio and a Mitsubishi Evo X, both of which are tuned to the nuts but kept as stock looking as possible- except for the noise! PS, great vid, best Mini vid I've seen on tha tube.

You could be like my neighbor who drives a McLaren, he frequently peels out once dark and really goes. I guess he thinks if you can't see it no one will know who it is. Doesn't seem to realize we all know the sound of his car and the taillights are wonderfully distinctive. Of course none of us want to ban him, we would however not mind being lent the car for a drive.

Beautiful detail everywhere, especially the interior and bonnet carbon treatment. Love the doors and the Recaro seats, However I wouldn’t want to clean those wheels too often. BUT those pops and bangs from the exhaust!! “Anti Social” comes to mind. It would drive me and probably my Nieghbour’s mad.

Two on the drive and on MINI number seven here. I’ve always loved the wee mods, personal changes to make MINI’s more personal be it simply white indicator bulbs or more. The owner has went all in as they say and fair play. I enjoying seeing people mods, some may not be to my taste but I always appreciate the effort and engineering. Bet that absolutely chews through tyres 😁. And I though people doing the joey mod to the lights were brave😁.

A show car that goes aswell as it looks👌👍. I like all the details & work that's gone into making the Mini, unique & look as good as it does. I don't mind the occasional pop's & cracks from an exhaust & I can see that having popcorn & AK's firing out the back can be fun sometimes/party-piece, but for me I'd be tempted to have a popcorn tune available at the flick of a switch (missile style flip switch - ON/OFF ).

Great looking Mini and what an attention to detail. However, having a dog that has developed a fear of cars, after we one day where we were passed by 40ish cars with popping exhaust, I will NEVER make my exhaust pop if I’m passing a dog on the street or in an area where I’d expect dogs.

Holy......monkees, I would want to drive it with the bonnet top OFF! Every time I drove it I would have the microfiber out to get any particle of dust off the moment I got home. I would spend equal time looking at it as driving it. And letting a stranger borrow it? Yeah, right, I wouldn't let my best friend drive it (maybe if Jay Leno was my best friend I might). It might be noisy, impractical and expensive....but I still like it.
