The little scratch she did when she took down the bun, I felt that.

That is why i dont use butter based moisturizers. Its just applying oil to the hair sealing in dryness and you dont get any of that wet feeling when applying butters to the hair. So they just make my hair feel more dry. I now use scurl to moisturize

Wow I’ve been natural for three years and my hair is now bra strap length and super thick. But when I was relaxed I was NEVER able to reach your amount of thickness and this length I wonder what I was doing wrong😫😫

I’m 5 years natural & my hair is really thick and healthy just hard with length ( seems like it’s always in the same spot, back length ) but whenever I’m relaxed my hair grows suuuuper long it’s just thin looking so I’m having mixed emotions 😭

That Cantu moisturizer is the one I've been using since I relaxed. It's great! I'm about to wash my hair tomorrow and treat with the Cantu Masque. This is going to be my first wash since I permed two weeks ago.

Thanks for sharing. Question: Do you feel as if your hair gets weighed down a lot by these products? I think I could maybe use a mineral oil-based moisturizer like the Cantu one and a JBCO seal and a scalp oil only if I then put my hair in twists or braids. But even for a bun, all those oils and heaviness are really just too much for me. And forget about using that for a twist-out. What hairstyles do you use with these products? (I heard you mention a bun I think.)

This routine is for someone who doesn't want to moisturize and seal every day or someone who feels like their hair dries out quickly. I had my hair in a bun the last couple of days but will be going into braids. thanks for watching!

I got a relaxer and cut last week. However my hair feels dry and brittle no matter how many times i moisturize and seal, wrap and/or roller set. After the relaxer i used the aphogee leave in condition about 3/4 times as the liquid in my lco method. Im starting to wonder if that is the reason for the dryness. I changed the liquid to water but my hair just doesnt feel moisturized like i am used to. I am also using the same products that u use. the cantu as the cream moisturiser and the castor oil as sealant. PLEASE HELP!
@BriannaRashay5 жыл бұрын
jistayable if your hair is brittle it sounds like you need some moisture. Try deep conditioning once a week and over time you should be able to see some progress. Try to stay away from heat as well that tends to dry the hair out hope this helps
