Thanks for watching! I think that there is an optical illusion because of where the camera is mounted and the perception given by the wide angle lens. I do appreciate your concern! Thanks again.

Was trying to see if I knew anything on your segment on 655 as I have family property near it (have to use it to get there)- the Belleville area. My family rides dirt bikes up on Stone mountain near there. Nice to see video of the area, and it is great scenery.

Thanks for watching. I haven't thought much of riding in Pennsylvania, but I should. It is great and it is close. Thanks again for watching!

Hey TC! It’s The Roadknight (the ugly one). I’m heading to PA in a couple of weeks to explore the area with my buddies. This route 655 looks like a good one. Thanks for the content!

Awesome! I just loved that Route. I hope that you do too. Where are you headed?

We are just going to tool around the back roads of PA for a few days. We don’t have enough time to head further south unfortunately.

@@theroadknight2669 sounds like fun. Southern PA is awesome. The only downside is the exchange rate. We were in Vermont 2 weeks ago and it stung a bit.

@@tigercowardThanks for your videos. I totally share your passion for the Leafs and complete distain for the Bruins (Go Leafs Go). I have been planning a route similar to yours down Blue Ridge Skyway to the Tail of the Dragon and Cherahola Skyway. Your route looks stunning. I was wondering if you had a route mapped out that you might share with me. If not worries. Thanks for the sharing the scenery. Cheers Jim

@jwoodyard1 At least this year, we don't have to look for places to watch them on the road! Sorry, I wish that I had kept good track of where we traveled. We take paper maps with us, and every night, we looked for the curviest roads. No plan, no route. He is a link to a website that we found on our way back and would have been helpful beforehand: www.appalachianbackroads.com/ Thanks for watching, and I hope that you have an awesome adventure!

Central PA, as you probably noticed, is a series of ridgelines, and those are crossed with numerous good roads, so many it's awfully hard to pick a "best". My mom and brother live up that way, I've altered a fairly straight 240 route to as much as near 400 just to explore new roads, hunt for covered bridges (PA has well over 100 of those) and the like. Don't think I've hit 655 though. The road that goes down to Front Royal is US522.

655 was great! I want to spend more time in Pennsylvania, especially the southeast part of the State. Thanks again for watching!

I was just looking on Google Maps and did find 655; looks likely you merged onto US522 at some point, tney may well be concurrent in places. Couple years ago my route included 522 from Winchester up to where PA35 comes in, then up 35 a ways.

Thanks, I have started paying better attention to my routes so that I can report them on my videos. But more importantly, so that I can find my way back there one day. Thanks for watching and for and for your support. Your thoughtful comments and discussion mean a lot to me!
