@@nextgenfootball69420 That's just a more negative way of framing the same thing though. Like even if it were a two-move mate, or three-move, or forty-five move mate, you could call it a blunder, or you could appreciate your opponent finding a great move or sequence of moves.

@@sashaboydcom lol not really, it's definitely a blunder if you have a chance to prevent mate in 1 but don't prevent it, because it's easy for the opponent to see the one move mate, there's no glory or skill in it, but there's definitely regret for the guy who blundered mate in 1 and that's why it's called a blunder

Diemer has got to be one of the weirdest characters in Chess history, weirder than even Morphy's death and Fischer's mental descent. At 6:39 there is a savage move for white after ne5 Qe6 takes the pawn , Re6 takes the queen , ne6 takes the rook and it's a royal fork and then the queen is gone White will be up a Rook , Queen and a pawn for a queen and a knight
