That is a typical base for a 900 elo player like me, u just see a chance to make a checkmate, I didn't see a fork rapidly and wondered why this was a brilliant move.. but they is not such a move as an idea with extra-class calculating including sacrifice.

I always prefer this calm, mannered commentary than the over the top theatrical performances. I love commedy and some variability, but if you speak 70% calm, then screaming the rook or facepalming hard on blunders stand out more. Just my opinion. Great video as always.

I think especially for the recaps the calm demeanor is better. It would be better (imo) if he reserved the more comedic side for something like GTE or while streaming

Stavroula is a beast. By the age of 20 she already won the world youth championship 3 times. At one point she was top 14th women U21. I firmly believe she will become gm next year. 💪🏻

14:15 - One thing I find interesting about this position is that it's initially +1.9, then it gradually increases as the depth increases. Eventually at Depth 30 Stockfish thinks Nxf5 is +4.9. It's the only move about +0.0 eval.

Stavroula has demonstrated her fighting spirit in chess many times (including when she won the world championship in her age group). And yes this was a "γαμάτο" i.e. gamato move. Damn!

I remember the best move I've ever seen OTB, It was by one of our better players at King's Lynn Chess Club. His rating was about 2300 and he played a triple piece sacrifice to get a mate in 8. Amazing. He also is a published chess book author.

So doesn't that becomes the best MOVES you have seen Also not to brag but I played a quadruple piece sacrifice combination which lead to a mate in like 15 moves(not forced cuz opponent could have re-sacrificed more material than I sacrificed to stop the checkmate) Overall, was the best game I played

I love that Levy uses the first minute of each of his videos to make sure we understand how life changing this video is going to be, it can be the most basic thing in the world, but he will make us believe that this one thing will change the world as we know it. it makes me some what hyped xD. keep up the good work.

How amazing that Marshall's move was also Qg3! These two plus Bobby's Queen sacrifice against Byrne seem to stand head and shoulders above the rest due to their seemingly non forcing character.

I am from Greece and I can say that her name is Tsolakidou, like it's Tsolakidoo and the tone is in the i. Also we pronounce the d like a th. So Tsolakithoo is the right pronouncing name. (Τσολακίδου)

The d in Tsolakidou is pronounced like "the", then you got the "ou" part that you can pronouce like "you" without the y. You nailed the Stavroula though.
