the 7 is the worst in general. it’s an okay train, it does the job to get you from place to place. but the only thing that messes it up, is surfers. yes, the surfers. they will literally do anything to delay your train and get you home or to work late. but despite that it’s a good train. it’s fast, trains come by every 2-5 minutes. and it’s the only IRT train to go in queens.

I miss the OG 7, when it started in Times Square, went to Flushing and had mostly R62A’s. Way better equipment. Btw, I feel like when the 7 got the r188 from the 6 trains which had them, but as R142As which were converted into R188. I feel that when that happened, the love for the 6, and the okayness for the 7 just swapped for some reason.

I think they should’ve just had new straight up the factory R188’s they should’ve never took from the 6 because now they gonna need new techs for the future cbtc but I agree with You @TheMetroMen

Despite the fact that the 7 is the best Subway Line, it definitely deserves to be extended east of Main Street - Flushing. It will be very great if the 7 can be extended to at least Parsons Blvd. It will be very helpful so that way congestion gets relieved within the vicinity of Downtown Flushing.
