I honestly can't say I disagree with any of those except Rose/Paul. If we're talking a perfectly healthy Rose we also have to consider a version of CP3 that wasn't injured as much.

Thing is, we saw prime Paul from 07-09. He was very, very, very good. As he was throughout his career, but he's never been an overpowering force. He's never been able to carry a team. He always ends up the emotional leader, but he's never the #1 option. Rose at his MVP-level, which still wasn't his absolute potential fulfillment, was way better than Paul was at any point in time. Pre-injury Rose is up there with anyone, including Jordan in terms of potential. Paul gets points for consistently being very, very, very good, but he's not up there with Zeke, Stockton, or Magic and others for top PG of all-time. Not even close, really. Rose on the other hand, had that one magic season and clearly had the talent to be legendary. So it's really a matter of whether you prefer steady consistency or explosive potential. Chicken or beef argument.

Nah I gotta push back on MJ at 2. Kareem is easily the best player when you consider what he did for the two teams he played for. Sure MJ is considered the GOAT but do we really think of him as a Wizard when we talk about his greatness? We can talk about Kareems greatness with two separate franchises in his prime (3 MVPs per team 1 chip in Milwaukee and 5 more championships towards the end of his prime and career in LA) won finals MVP for both franchises too.

I hate when they say "at his prime, he was better. The problem with that is you could say at Jeremy Lin's prime he was better than Stockton at his prime. But Lin's prime was like 3 months. No one would actually say he is better than John Stockton. Saying Rose is better than some of those other players because he had one really good year seems absurd to me.
