I think sometimes people forget that there was no all-star game in the 1998-99 season, because there was simply no time for it. If there was, several players would have one more all-star added to their resume. Like Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Kobe, Shaq, etc

Arvydas Sabonis should at least be a strong consideration for 0 selections. 3 is not "easily" Rose, Glenn Rice is very close and health matters so that puts him on top. Per your own rule Giannis is not eligible so 4 goes to Rasheed Wallace or Anfernee Hardaway. 5 is easily Reggie Miller. 9 is Gary Payton. 11 is Allen Iverson. Magic is better than Bird and he proved that time and time again. The reason that James Worthy was such a good player is because he had the best passer of all time passing to him, yes he may have been a good scorer but he would not have been nearly as good if it weren’t for Magic. Also, Magic locked down four positions in each game, the only position that he couldn’t guard consistently was a seven foot center that had at least sixty pounds on Magic.
