The BEST Neeko Deck I've Played SO FAR! - Legends of Runeterra

Neeko is my favorite champion from the Heart of the Huntress expansion and the reason for that can be summed up in one word: Acho! Seriously the subtype soup archetype is really satisfying and with the new buffed Warden of the Tribes as game finisher - Glacial Saurion to push more damage and get some cards - and Crested Lionhawk to get Demacia spells when you're not in Demacia make this deck very versatile and powerful in any situation.

I played around with Snow Neeko on stream for a few hours, it started with with Frozen in Fear because the token is a dog but... as soon as I switched that card for another 2 drop my winrate skyrocketed. I moved two Drakehounds _(immobile, 4/1 with quick attack)_ into my deck. Before I cast them, I wait around 8 seconds, then I'm spaming _sad_ emote. They always become high priority target for enemy spells. 🤣 Its funny, when opponent respond after wasting a spell into "useless" unit, by _surprise_ or _well played_ emote.

The fun part about drakehounds is, they dont count towards neeko lvl up, because they arent technically attacking yet when you declare the attack Also, if you transform neeko into one, it will never get to "declare attack", so she will never level up

⁠​⁠​⁠@@Yuri98I think what he means is that the drakehound attacks after all the other attacks have been declared, so if neeko is at 5/6 with dog being one of the subtypes that hasn’t attacked, then if you attack with neeko with a drakehound on board, neeko won’t level because it will check the condition first, then have the drakehound attack. I don’t actually know if that’s how it works, but that seems to be what he is saying. You are correct regarding the second point though, because the drakehound does declare an attack when it’s effect triggers, so neeko will level if transformed into one.

Does Legion deserter gain +1/+1 or more than that from neeko level? Cause that card gains stats from all everywhere buffs so it would be interesting to see it skyrocket from a single neeko attack. (Edit: No it doesn't, sadly it counts as 1 from neeko)

Summon effects need to be able to resolve without player input. That's why predicts, manifests and invokes are on play. If you summon 3 units with one action, how would you know why you suddenly have a card selection?

if you play her disguised she counts as the subtype of the card shes disguised as.... if you play her as neeko she counts as a shapeshifter (neeko being the only shapeshifter in the game... so if your missing the final subtype to level her you play her as neeko then she levels when she attacks)

Unpopular opinion but here it is. A way to nerf Neeko after this hype patch is to make her only grant +1/+1 on "other allies", not including her. Cause that's an illusive champ that self sustain which is never fun to deal with.

Your take on Baldur's Gate 3 physically hurt me. Saying Diablo 3 and BG3 have anything in common is like saying that Football and Soccer have something in common. Worth mentioning: Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, along with Planescape: Torment, are considered the be the absolute pinnacle of isometric RPGs, which were both very popular and EXTREMELY good games from the early 2000's. They are all certified classics that hold up well even to today.

In case anyone is interested, I've been having insane success with a more polished version of the deck used in this video. Most notable difference is adding Beguiling Cobra as a 1 of instead of triple Crested Lionhawk, which can produce some ridiculous wincons by doubling your Warden. Also some varying subtypes of 1, 2 and 3 drops are sprinkled in the deck to more consistently get that levelled Neeko.
