Neyith allows you to double any creature's power. With the Brash Taunter, you can double an opponent's huge creature's power, then fight to wreck them.

Combo with Fiery Emancipation, you can double your own and let it fight Brash Taunter, this way your Brash taunter takes triple damage and then you triple the damage from Brash.. XD

Another really cool card with Emiel is Stalking Leonin. When your opponent is attacking you, you just blink it, name the player that's attacking you and exile his creature.

Honestly, I see Tinybones making it to tier 2, even tier 1.5 in cEDH general tiers. It has the capability to shut down combo decks, which is already crucial to the meta. I've been building it for a few days now, and I'm already ditching combos and tutors for the deck, because I feel like if I'm playing a full reckless abandon mentality, it will make the opponents do the same thing. Very effective draw engines are going to be the only answers to this deck. A big recommendation for this deck would be torpor orb!

So thought I would give some tips on deckbuilding minotaurs since I already run that deck (it's commander has just got an insane buff ) labryinth of skophos is an auto include , heirloom blade has also gotten better because of the commander rules change , ferocity of the wilds is a favorite of mine , having a package with Dictate of the Twin God's (Fiery Emancipation ) is great way to finish games , but the MVP is definetely Fanatic of Mogis . That with purphoros can just finish games out of nowhere

Tip: do NOT count the cards in your library when calculating how many cards are in a library's top half. Instead, count all cards you own in all other zones (battlefield, hand, graveyard, exile and command zone), then subtract that total from 100. It's a lot faster.

There are a lot of cards like that. Almost every card they talked about when discussing Tinybones was like that. Oppression, bottomless pit, words of waste, dark deal, shrieking affliction all see next to 0 cEDH play. Tinybones doesnt make those cards much better. Kroxa honestly could do the same thing as Tinybones in cEDH and had more combo options and still sees basically 0 play.

Idk, a 2 Mana commander that can draw 4 cards a turn cycle with the cards you mentioned seems pretty decent. Not to mention the win-con packed onto the card. It's puts your opponents in a tough position too, because with cards like the rack and shrieking affliction your opponents have to decide whether to flood the board(to make your hand dead and rob you of card advantage) or hold back to protect themselves from being burnt out. Plays well with cabal ritual too since your best spells like Liliana of the veil will likely have you discarding as well. Could even run a small reanimator package as a backup plan

Which is to say in CEDH, build it as a mono black control deck to rob them of critical combo pieces and slow them down long enough to fire some lasers from your tiny skeleton

I played Jump/Start for the first time last month. One of my packs was Minotaurs. Sethron is a BEAST! I won multiple games with him and my other Minos. Since then I have gotten heavily into Commander. I'm definitely building a Sethron/Minotaur tribal deck!

The fights from Ezuri’s Predation *are* simultaneous (as per a ruling I found on Gatherer). I’m not a judge, but my assumption is that, much like how blocking is simultaneous and will only ever draw 1 card per combat off Neyith, those fights only draw one total card. Also worth noting that if you have two of your creatures fight (for example, you have Brash Taunter fight Apex Altisaur to trigger their abilities) that fight only draws 1 card

On the magic Wiki it labels certain packs as: Mythic, Rare, Uncommon, and Common. I imagine that indicates that there will be varying frequency for each bracket just as with normal packs.

Thing that didn't get mentioned during the "pass around the eldrazi" discussion, if you attacked with Kozilek, you'd get the annihilator trigger, but if you gave it away to Mel, that happens before damage, and thus Kozilek is removed from combat because control of it changed. So you'd have to choose between getting extra triggers in a turn rotation or doing damage, not both. (Of course multiple annihilator triggers is super powerful and probably still the right choice, just saying that you don't also get the combat damage)

Put an Inniaz deck together and she's been a lot of fun so far. Here are some cards I tried: Galepowder Mage allows you to stack its own and Inniaz's triggers so they flicker the creature you gave away. Aven Mindcensor, Hushbringer, and Hushwing Gryff lock down a lot of common commander strategies. Some of these even work fine when you give them away. Oblivion Ring, Detention Sphere, Banishing Light, and other similar temporary removal are great for passing around. Pacifisms too. Or just most auras. Finally, Dovescape.

first time I immediately jumped into the comment section: I'm not sure about the distribution of expeditions and masterpieces, but let's take the 1:140 as mentioned (I seem to have 1 per 4 boxes in mind). That was one of the entire set, so no comparison there. This is definitely more impactful than masterpieces.

There are a total of three Mono Red Goblins that cost more than 5 Mana: Ignition Team for 5RR and Goblin Dynamo for 5RR and Goblin Marshal for 4RR

Just letting you guys know, in M21 you had the same chance of getting Teferi as of getting any of these mythics that you are talking about, about a 1 in 120 chance. In a normal set, 1/8 packs have a mythic rare, and since there were 15 mythics in M21, they have the same chance of occuring. Jumpstart also has a 1/3 random rare slot, and a few decklists have more than 1 rare in them. This set will actually produce a number of reprints similar to, in fact more than, any other "premium" set, due to not having a limited print run.

regarding the Goblin Question for Muxus. There are 8 Goblins in Total with CMC greater than 5 I can find with Scryfall. One is Muxus himself and 3 Others have a non-Red Color Identity. So you are potentially missing out on 4 Goblins you could theoretically put in. (Goblin Dynamo, Goblin Goliath, Goblin Marshal and Ignition Team)

Just adding. There are 46 themes (9 for each color and the Rainbow theme), and there are 11 themes that have only 1 variation (Basri, Teferi, Liliana, Chandra, Garruk, Unicorns, Mill, Phyrexian, Seismic, Walls and Rainbow.). And Path to Exile is as "rare" as a Mythic. Some of the rares of Jumpstart also have the same probability as a Mythic.

Or, if you haven't got them to discard everything yet, give them the "painful quandary" to decide between the life or the discard. I've always loved how perfectly named that card is!

Spider-tribal GO!! 1:14:10 AFAIK, Lab Maniac doesn't work if Ormos is in play, because Ormos replaces the draw with putting counters on it, whereas Lab Man waits for you to actually draw and hit the state-based action of dying before replacing that with winning. 1:27:00 You don't want to draw TOO much, because that draw/life loss is not optional.

while training grounds reduces Ormos activated ability to bb, heartstone wont because it cant reduce the generic mana cost to less then one, so it actually wouldnt reduce the sphinxs ability at all. i could be wrong, but when i played hearstone in xantcha thats what we played by in my play group.
