Just rode one of the Finn Scooters at my local course for a round. Was extremely easy to use especially if you have ever ridden a bike or MC. Will be vuying one as soon as possible!!

Have had a Golf Skate Caddy for three years now. Quite a few issues with it, mainly 'robustness'. Main axle support plates breaking is the most recent as well as Axle King Pin. USB cover fell off somewhere; thumb switch breaking; CPU blowing; Bag strap losing rivets; Rear cool box latches falling off........

that's terrible seeing it the most expensive by a long mark. (laird is to blame!)

I've used the Phat Scooters at my local muni. having to drop the kickstand every time you stop, and the fact that there is absolutely zero suspension in the thing makes it really not that much fun. I walk anyway, but I like the idea of having a solo riding vehicle, but not the phat scooter. You hit one little bump and everything comes flying out of your bag and your bag gets tossed around in the back. the tires have no treads so if you're on the side of a hill you literally slide down the hill while you're trying to go perpendicular to the hillside. I like some of these other options though...

Try the Fat Tire Golf scooter...they have a trike too!

next time you are there let the tyre pressure down the suspension is in the phat tyres, i bet that are pumped up too hard.

I like the look of the Ellwee and the Firway Rider models. I have early onset of osteoarthritis in both knees and am planning for the future, when I may well need assistance to get around the course. I currently play, on average, three times a week and am looking to continue this. I am base in Oxfordshire, UK. Where can I try each of these models out close to home before deciding which, if any, model to purchase please?.

I've tried the golf board, it was hard on the legs! If you're on your feet all day like me, avoid that one. I'm more attracted to the sit down options. I'd like to try some of the scooters and bikes out there or just bring my own.

Does anyone know how accepting your local courses are to these? I’d love one but afraid I’d just get turned away at the pro-shop.
@Asone822 жыл бұрын
The only reason golf courses don't accept them is because their own fleet of carts makes them a lot of money. Most clubs won't allow it if you just rock up with one but if you're a member you have a strong chance by writing in and plead a case to the Board of Directors.

Hmm--none of these have roofs. You would hate to use any of these in the rain. Every state gets rain. Don't forget the sun and sunburn. Sadly see these as gimmicks.

None of those different golf carts makes any improvement to the current tried and true models. Each cart carries 2 players makes more sense and saves environment too.
@GolfWeekly4 жыл бұрын
How is a gas cart more Eco-Friendly than an electric vehicle or bike? 🤔 Single riders are more efficient by far, as opposed to 2 rider carts. It’s a fact, not a theory. 2-player carts zig zag across the golf course which slows play.
@richardboult10793 жыл бұрын
@@GolfWeekly I agree... I play with a foursome 3 mornings a week and we each have our own cart... we play in 2 1/2 hours every round. I ride a Onewheel, the other's use a traditional cart. I used to ride a phatscooter. Join our Onewheel Golfers group to learn more and join the fun: facebook.com/groups/369907551097707/
@jbsprengeler31473 жыл бұрын
Electric carts also weigh over 1000 on their own, where most off these options weigh sub 250 pounds. with the scooters and bikes well under 150. They speed up play, and cut down significantly on course wear, with each player following their own ball versus a heavy cart traveling to both. With new electric and gas carts costing upwards of $8,000usd, this is a very cost friendly and economical option.
@HoopsnGitfiddles3 жыл бұрын
2-player carts make no sense. They are brutally slow as you have to track and travel to balls in different parts of the fairway, and wait for one player to finish completely before the second player can even start to prepare.
@EnuffsEnuff318 Жыл бұрын
Too funny. The pros walk, carry their bags, and play golf, not drift on an electric skateboard. Nice stuff, but it ain't golf.
